Kaffe

Kaffe 1668 in Tribeca is the best coffee place I know of! I'm Swedish, so probably have the "coffee is vital to life" gene; Swedes take their coffee very seriously indeed. My husband is British, but still thinks Kaffe 1668 is the home of coffee :) Choose your coffee by country of origin; try new areas & roasts to find your favourites.

Kaffe is frequented by people who like the (excellent) sandwiches, patisseries, coffees, teas and the free wifi - if you dislike laptops, this is probably not for you. You could get a take-out, though! There is seating downstairs, too, so don't give up if it looks full upstairs.

Pros: the best coffee, free wifi, tasty sandwiches etc

Cons: they don't have a branch in London ;)
