Pac Ratz has a huge selection of what nots scattered throughout its exceedingly crowded 2 rooms. It is a resale/consignment store with some of them being antiques according to the owner. He had a chair outside of the store with a price tag of 4 for $75. One of my girls needed chairs for her college apt so we went searching through the store to find the other 3. When we did, one of them had a $50 price tag. When I asked him to honor that price, I was told that someone must have switched the tags. When I pointed out that if someone had switched the tags, then they would have bought the lowest priced ones and since he had marked them he would have known that they weren't the right price. He then called me "ugly, old woman" and he threw me out of the store and said to never come back. Two different people stopped me and told me that he was notorious for jacking up prices on sale days. Apparently he was upset that I had caught him and stopped him from taking advantage of 19 yr olds. Shop at your own risk.
We spent several hundred dollars at other stores in Delavan including buying 6 chairs for $30. All of the other businesses we bought from including Scene II and Bibliomaniacs and an unnamed resale shop on the north side of Walworth Ave across from Elizabeth's Restaurant were great both in terms of selection but also in wonderful service. I would heartly recommend any of them over Pac Ratz.
