I brought my car here for a simple repair. I dropped it off first thing in the morning and expected it to not take long. I waited all day for a call but never got one. I finally called them 7 hours later to see if it was done. That is when I was told by the owner that there is additional repairs necessary, and they were working on getting the parts. I was never even notified that there were additional problems and they had already started the repair. He said one part needed to be shipped in and they would need the car over night. I was a little surprised and mentioned I would have to rent a car and asked if he would help with the cost. He rudely refused. I persisted one more time since the repair would now be considerably more money. His response to me asking a second time was not to explain why they were able or not able to pay but simply "Fine, I'll pay for your DAMN rental car." I was absolutely appalled by his statement and tone and wanted to know why he was so upset. He then continued to insult me by saying it was not his fault I did not take care of my car properly. I remained calm even though he was incredibly disrespectful. I asked how he could treat a customer like this and he replied "This is my business and that's how I choose to run it, so you can take your car somewhere else next time". He had my car torn apart and I had no choice but to continue with the repair. It doesn't end here though. I am getting ready to go pick up the car the next day and I get a call from them. No apology for being so inconsiderate the prior day but just to tell me that someone forgot to order the part and I would be without my car a second day! Never says sorry we messed up or I'll cover the rental car for today, just that it will be ready tomorrow. I finally am able to pick it up 2 days later and for a total of $600 + a rental. The owner acted as if nothing had happened. DO NOT USE RENN HAUS!
