Affordable Granite & Marble

I wish I could give zero stars. 6 weeks ago I went in to Affordable Granite to order a 10 sq. foot foot piece of granite. I was told they would get back to me in 2 weeks. 6 weeks later, I called. No return call. I called again. I got the owner, Peter, and he said, that in the past couple weeks they received a bunch of new orders for kitchens due to their sale -- so he would be backed up for AT LEAST another couple of months. I asked, that in the meantime if more kitchen orders came in, would I get pushed out longer. Yup. I point blank asked, "so does that mean you do not want my business on this?" he said, "Yes. Not right now." Whoa.... business must be REALLY good. So much for a down economy.

I asked for a referral on another place to bring my business, and he gave me one. Too bad I recommended them to a friend (who ordered a kitchen and 2 bathrooms from them). Are you kidding me? I told him it would have been nice 6 weeks ago to have been told this .. before all of these other more important clients surfaced. What a horrible way to run a business. Unfortuantely, they are on an uphill climb from the previous owners, who had many customer service issues. Looks ike they are not much better. I hope their advertising budget is huge, because a disgruntled patron is worth 3 times what it takes to positively promote a business. I will be a loud voice against this business. What a shame.
