I will eat almost anything and usually won't complain. I found myself in the St. James area while getting my car serviced at a nearby dealership and noticed this very small pizzeria nearby. I like pizza and have tried chain products all the way to small independent shops, but recognize that the best pizzas do not come from small chains but from family owned independent shops. In this experience, now so does the worst. I've had only 1 really bad pizza experience that I can remember but now I have 2 experiences embedded in my memory. After eating at dozens and dozens of pizzerias from all over I can't think I have eaten at a more awful place than this. At first I thought it was closed but realized they were open so decided to give it a try. There was a worker behind the counter on the phone with an Italian accent. I tried to place an order but was given the gesture of will be with you in a minute. Looking around, there was no table seating just a few stools by the window. After waiting for what seemed like a couple of minutes, the worker while still on the phone and seemed bothered by my presence rudely asked "what do you want?" I was reluctant at this point to order anything but for some reason l still decided to order just a slice from a pie that had just come out of the oven. (He also mentioned they specialized in thin crust variety pizza crust so I gave it a try.) After taking a few bites, the terror and moral horror of this obscene food set in quickly. The sauce tasted like sour cocktail sauce out of a jar and the cheese spread out thinly and barely noticeable tasted more like a petrochemical cheese substitute. The crust had the consistency of a stale saltine cracker and I think they don't believe in seasonings either.
The taste was totally unacceptable. I??ve had better pizzas than this from the frozen food section at the Supermarket. To be fair and honest, I don't see this place being around too long with it's shoddy service and sub-par quality ingredients. A horrific experience to say the least, the rest of the slice deservingly ended up in the closest trash bin I could find.

.

For me, a good slice of pizza is always a fun experience. Unfortunately, there was nothing good about the slice that I had at Tommassos.

I made the mistake of trying this place in September of 2009. I was in the area for business and needed to grab a quick lunch.

Their pizza was absolutely horrible. Tasteless cheese, not enough sauce, no seasoning, crust that tasted like a stale English Muffin.
