Where do I start...arrived at 5:10 yesterday prior to Devils Isles game with wife and 3 year old son (surprised they actually do have a kids menu and are kid friendly). Placed orders quickly, I would say at about 5:20 at the latest. Drinks come out etc and a couple more folks get seated around us about 10-20 mins later. Approaching 6 oclock we don't have out food. (It should be noted our food order consisted of appetizer sliders, side order of fries and a baked potato.) The folks that came in after us are just about finished eating.

I tell the server and he apologized and said the food would be right out. I told him to cancel it because I want to get to the stadium. I gave him the credit card to ring me up for the beer and 2 iced teas. Check comes back with full bill still there and drops off the order in styrofoam boxes. Not sure how the Pru Center folks would like me bringing in outside food. Take it back to him and tell him I'm not paying.

About 10 mins later (now at about 6:30) the manager on duty comes out to make me look like an a** telling me I placed my order 25 minutes ago pointing to the order ticket and my service standard was unreasonable but did say he would "take the food off the bill." I checked with the patrons next to us who looked as dumbfounded as I. I asked them when they placed their order and they said about 5:30.

Well if he was taking the food off the bill as he states why did he find it necessary to come out and hassle me in front of my family and the rest of the place? I politely told him I've been here before and service has always at least been ok and I'm not out to scam an establishment by ordering and then not eating food (which would be the worlds worst scam). The server came over and apologized for his manager's attitude which he shouldn't have to do, considering his position, when we were on our way out. If it wasn't for the treatment I received from the manager I wouldn't even be typing this out now.

Promptly left and went to the Pru Center where it was dollar hot dog night and they were Nathan's at least. Next time I'll try Hell's Kitchen or one of the other area places that are highly regarded.

Mediocre bar food and poorly mixed drinks. If the grilled salmon ($27!) is any indication, it's probably wise to avoid any of the overpriced dishes beyond burgers and wings. The poor fish was overcooked, and submerged in a goopy, sickly sweet sauce: inedible.

This a nice place to have a sandwich. The atmosphere is very pleasant and clean. The food is good and the service is fast. It is a nice place to bring kids and family.
