My wife and I always enjoy a meal at Emma's. We typically sit at the bar because the feel is more casual. The food is always terrific and I have a have a special weakness for the chips they serve at the bar and the pretzels. All-in-all, Emma's has great food in a relaxed atmosphere and we always recommend it to our friends.
We came with another couple and sat at a corner table. The restaurant energy was lively and we snacked on those delicious pretzels while sipping our drinks. We each ordered different dinners ranging from burgers to Chicken Pot Pie. The food was delicious and we had a great time. Emma's is our go to local favorite!
The moment I set my foot in Emma?s Ale House, I was just swished into another world. The place was rocking with music and the ambience was refreshingly trendy. Very pleasant staff, I must say, and the menu was real big. Everything included ? from burgers, salads, sandwiches and fries to main entrees. The pineapple drink I ordered was fabulous and the soft pretzel rolls they served instead of the usual bread basket were just yummy!
The Buffalo Chicken Lollipop in the starters was fantastic, very tender and chunky and the dip sauce served with it tasted real good. Heard a lot about the Portabello Mushroom and Gruyere Flatbread of Emma?s but decided to give it a try the next time. Picked up Chicken Pot Pie for the main dish. Stuffed with chicken, it was really huge and delicious.
The menu was so tempting that couldn?t just give the dessert a miss. Ordered for the Double Chocolate Cake ? I will vote for this as the best dessert that I have ever had in my life - chocolate fudge layer outside, thick, warm gooey chocolate filling inside and topped with a mint ice cream scoop. Absolutely delicious. Don?t leave this place without polishing this off. You will never get this in other Westchester NY Restaurants.
Weekends are very crowded and it seems that it is a local favorite. Will try Emma?s again on a weekday night to cut down on the noise level and crowd.
