Yeah, Fatboy is the bomb. Good tires at good price. They are just not rubber skins. Grate service and there is a 5 day warranty on the used tires. If in need of tires at good price check him out. He will hook you up.

I just bought 2 245/45/18 tires for $45.00 each, no matter what their flat rate seems to be 40 for the tire and 5 for the balancing which is posted on a big sign inside their shop. They have a 5 day warranty for all used tires, but you must have your receipt. I have read comments about how tires may have been slashed (You follow?). Their shop has 6 spots where you can park your vehicle and they do everything in front of you. So you must be blind or your vision is a little impaired if you somehow they decided to sabotage your tires without you watching them do so. You know the risk of buying a used tire, you have 5 days after the tire has been set on your car to return with receipt and receive another used tire for free if it blows out on you or something other than that happens. $45.00 for a tire that has about 70+% thread left on the tire, is worth it for me.

DO NOT use this place. AT first glance it seems great, they appear to be very helpfull, accomodating and pro; but, "there's a but' once they get you hooked, you have time to observe and diggest the activity around you, soon realized you're up for a ride to GOTCHA Neverland!!!!!

Here's an example: First I called inquiring about a good used tired for a Mustang GT. ANSWER: "sure we got a good one for $30" so I went there, waited about 1/2 hr got the tire and VOILA now it's $45...what was I gonna do? Tell them to take the tire off and push the car? Afterwards, notice that suddenly (for no apparent reason) as I was leaving the lot, another tire had a BIG cut. You follow...Just my luck, right? So here's what I did: I asked if they had NEW tires for that car. There's a BIG sign saying NEW TIRES. ANSWER: sure, that will be $320 for a set of 4 installed. QUESTION: Guaranteed price, don't want to return to find out the price went up just as it did on this used one? ANSWER: Guaranteed! Went home told my wife and decided to do it. Went back and said OK. After waiting for awhile I get a receipt (now it's $350) and they want the money up-front and I will have to wait 2-3 hours 'cause they don't carry any new tires (but advertise them) and will have to go buy them. I'm already frustrated and annoyed but said OK. Make sure they are 245/45/17 H as I requested and paid for also, will you take back or partially refund the used tire I just bought from you 1/2 hr ago for $45?!!! ANSWER: Sorry used tires are not worth anything! [[[THEY JUST SOLD ME THAT TIRE FOR $45]]] But, we guarantee the new tires for 1 year.

So, after getting ripped-off for $45 "was $30" and (won't take the used tire back), wait 3-1/2 hrs for new tires "was $320" ends up being $350 and they didn't even install new valves on the wheels. Later, I get home to discover that the tires are 245/40/17 W (((NOT AT ALL WHAT I PAID FOR AND WAS GUARANTEED TO GET))) which was supposed to be 245/45/17 H.

Moral of the story: BE SMARTER THAN ME....Buy new tires at a dealer, stay out of this ripp-off used place , 'cause in the end I wasted 4-1/2hrs to end up with new wrong tires and a $45 used one ( I threw in the trash) just to save $28 compared to DISCOUNT TIRE.

A few days ago, I purchased 2 used tires from them for $60.00. While I was driving down the 101 Freeway yesterday, one of the tires popped. I took surface streets to the Walmart on Raintree & 101. I ended up having to purchase a brand new tire for $70.00. I called Fat Boy Tires & the male who answered said that he's not sure about me getting a refund on the tire and I would need to speak w/ the owner. So I asked if he was available, and he put "Fat Boy" on the phone. I didn't get a receipt. I paid with cash. the owner then said that they're the ony tire shop in the valley that offers warranties on used tires for up to five days after purchase. I'm well within my five days, when I mentioned that I didn't have a receipt & paid w/ cash, he said I should just come in and maybe someone there will recognize me. Yes I know that I should've used my credit card & got a receipt, this way I could just file a dispute with my bank. But like an idiot, I didn't. :( Either way, I explained my situation to him & he told me to just come down and "We'll take a look at it" but I explained there's no need to since I'm already having it replaced & just wanted a refund. He said that he CANNOT give me a refund I asked why not, he said that he has a sign in plain sight that says no refunds. BUT EARLIER, he said that they offer 5 day refunds?? Another thing, they were all drinking coronas in the shop on duty. So I don't recommend this place at all. I know it's only 30 bucks but I just want my money back & I plan on filing a BBB complaint, AG comlaint as well...

I purchased 4 used tires from Fatboy 2 weeks ago for $140, and they told me they were really good tires. They drove badly and I got them balanced 3 times when I found out they were cracking and the radials splitting apart. Fatboy said he would make it right but two weeks later, no tires, no refunds, won't return my calls and hasn't kept his word or stood behind his product.
