Great place to watch a game.... and more

by jooz

Went in there to watch a game with some friends, pretty nice atmosphere for that, then suddenly it was later, the music was pumping, and I was a dancing sweaty mess.... I mean machine. I met some girls who took me home and did great things to me. One of the most wildest nights of my life! And all because I went there to watch some football.... thank you god

Pros: Great tvs, good food, music

Cons: none

Great food and fun

by WallaWallaSweet

Big Daddy's is great. There is something for everyone from the darts to pool to sports to dancing. The bar has a good selection and the food is great. You can also take kids in. My kids love it as they can watch their favorite sports and have a great lunch or dinner.

Pros: Has something for everyone

Cons: Can feel like you're alone (only because they're so big)

Fun Night Spot, Good Food,

by DasCoug

I really like this place. Good selection of beer and a full bar. Fun place to go if you like to dance. It usually takes me a few beers then I'll dance! Good food. Nothing overly fancy and they have a huge menu with a lot of variety. Full bar too. Great place to go after wine tasting in Woodinville or if you want to watch football. They have NFL Ticket.

Pros: Good Food, A lot of TV's to watch sports!

Great Place

by BrianS1357

Big Daddy's new place is a great live music venue with awesome food! You really should check it out. They get terrific bands and their sound system is second to none. The place is all new so it is really nicely appointed... very classy. And it's really easy to find... right off the freeway.

I disagree with the comment about the owner... he seems like a quiet, humble type of person. Running a bar/restaurant can't be an easy task every day. And I saw him sit in with the band on bass guitar. Hey I guess you can't please everyone.

When you go there, plan to eat if you can, because I have had many things from their menu and I can't say enough about the wonderful food.

Big Daddy's Rocks

by howdee

Went to Big Daddy's over the weekend...used to frequent the old location but since moving to Seattle this was my first time checking out the new place. What a great space! Big, open, high ceilings...the sound system is awesome! We had great service and the food was good too. I appreciate a clean, neighborhood-feel hang out place. We'll be back for sure!

Pros: food, cleanliness, staff

Cons: woodinville's bit of a trek from Seattle

And he calls himself a business owner????

by tjesmer

I have been going to Big Daddys for years now. I continued when the "owner" moved the restaurant to a different location. It's nice, open, dark, and its new, which is a nice change coming from the old location. My buddys and I go to Big Daddys at least 3-4 days a week after work for beer and once in a while dinner. I spend a lot of money there, staff treats me well, and beer is nice and cold. I see the "owner" every time I am there, the man has, at the most, nodded his head at me when I have said "Hello Mike", complimented his new place, and his staff. I have never met a restaurant "owner" that rude and unfriendly. What I have seen and heard he is the same to a couple of the waitresses. There is one, she is the hardest working girl there and I have witnessed Mike disrespect and speak/yell rudely to her, on several occasions. Wouldn't you think he would treat his waitstaff good since they are the reason he is barley makin it. Not so smart "owner"

Pros: some of the waitstaff, frosy cold beer

Cons: so called "owner"

great time good food, great sound system for any band

by doug1

Visited April 26th 2008, Good time with a great band. We always arrive early to eat dinner before the band starts playing.
The food: the prime rib dip is to die for.
It seems They can be understaffed sometimes. With one or two people running wildly to keep up with the demand. It's not the staffs fault they could have people out sick you never know, I just tip big during the night and get good service.

Not a special as it use to be

by karpntails

This WAS the best keep secret once but over the past year the place has gone down hill fast. The bands are great but... the other things that made this place special are gone. NO more reservations so your chance of getting a table for dinner on the weekend can be slim since large parties are still allowed to make reservations and like our most recent visit over half the tables can be set aside for them. The food is not what it use to be and with all the turnover of staff of late the service can be very ify. To add salt to the wound the owner when told just doesn't seem to care... our most recent experience was, arrived at 7:30ish to find all but ONE table taken or reserved, order not taken till nearly 8:15, 20 minutes to get 3 glasses of ice tea to the table, another 20 to get 3 salads and 50 minutes to get the orders which were all wrong and then only after the wait person came to us 45 minutes after ordering and told us she'd have to up charge us for her mistake of telling us 2 sides came with the meal and not one. A complaint to the owner only got us a response of how unreasonable we were being, that the place was very busy and our wait person was only 3 days on the job and it was ok with him if after making a mistake it was perfectly reasonable to upcharge us for the wait staff's mistake. What a change from even a year ago when the staff greeted us with warm hellos, drinks on the table almost before we sat down and a staff that because we came in for dinner at least once a month recalled our usual dinner orders and would have them it on the table in record time.

Band was good, but see them anywhere else!

by hotweld38

My husband and I went to Big Daddy's after reading the other reviews on this site and were sadly disillusioned. We were impressed by the band "Big Dog Review" but I would only go see them anywhere else. The drinks were terribly watered down & overpriced, we couldn't get a glass of water (seriously it took five requests). We never got forks/knives to eat with (requested them with the requests for water) and ended up eating very little of our (overcooked) dinner because of it. Our dinner/bar tab was incorrect and we couldn't get the so-called waitress to fix it. She cleared our half-full drinks off the table when we were up dancing but we couldn't summon her help while we were sitting down! It is in a strip-mall type building with no character, not an adequate size dancefloor and very crowded seating.

Pros: band was good

Cons: food, service, atmosphere

Good food, good music

by snakie

Big Daddy's may be the best kept secret on the Eastside. Featuring local bands on the weekends, and a fantastic local acoustic singer/guitarist on Monday nights, you can be assured of great entertainment. The food is good, large portions, decent price. Mondays they have all-you-can-eat crab legs. The service is great, even when they are very crowded. Full service bar, pool tables, dart boards. Just a fun place in general. All ages until 9 p.m.

Pros: Good music, Good food, Adequate parking

Cons: , noisy jukebox, crowded

playing pool there

by pixynimph

If you're looking to play pool and you are somewhat new at it I would'nt recomend going to Big Daddy's because there is nothing but pool sharks there and they are kind of stuck up.

Pros: good parking, nice bartenders

Cons: kid of small, crowded pool tables, pool sharks

Great Place for a Great Time

by Moorebass2

The transformation of what was Kyote's in Woodinville too Big Daddies over the last three years has been phenomenal, to say the least.
Put simply........the best food, great service, great live entertainment ( probably the best sound system in the nation), and all placed in very comfortable surroundings. The Best in Casual entertainment! A must if you are on the East side of Seattle looking for a good time!

Pros: Great food, Great service, Great Live Music

Cons: N/A
