This goofy place rents field goggles, has free WiFi and overlooks the Fremont Canal and Burke Gilman Trail.
It serves pastries and salads/sandwiches and $2 Hales Ale beers.
That being said, I have never had a cup of coffee that I could finish at this place. And yes, I am a coffee snob- but this stuff is bitter and burned, shocked and unhappy.
On a sunny day though, it's worth it to bike over, grab a beer and sit out on the deck.

Pros: Sunny, large deck, general character, $2 beer all day long

Cons: espresso

Every time I round that bend on the trail and see the bright red of this coffeehouse I get happy. It's one of my personal treats to rarely bike past without stopping for coffee or a pastry. I love the railroad motif they have going on in there too.

If you walk or bike the Burke Gilman through Freemont ?? this place is a must stop along the route. The pastries are fabulous and it is a great place to sit and look over the canal.
