Located in a nice neighborhood; it is very expensive and you don't get what you pay for...

Facility: Don't be fooled by a beautiful place, this is not a learning center or a school; it is a glorified babysitter. They are not called teachers; they are referred as caregivers, most lacking the instinct to care for the kids.
Rating: It is a 4 star school, but they don't follow a lot of the policies that are important with that kind of rating.
Structure: Kids roam around the room bored all day. If the kid isn't eating or forced into a long nap, no learning throughout the day.
Curriculum: A lot of empty promises are made and not followed up on. They continuously state they have a curriculum, but fail to execute. One project does not constitute education or a curriculum. The after school program and care are not any better.
Supplies: No new supplies ever brought. No rotation of supplies or toys available.
Sanitation: Supplies and toys are not cleaned on a regular base, not even meeting the state minimum requirement. Food and dirt is left on the kids faces when picked up at the end of the day. Parents are not washing their hands or the kids hand upon room entry. Shoes are worn in the infant room and the stroller often gets rolled into the infant room. Floors are not steam clean regularly.
Illnesses: Kids are constantly sick- even with the strict sick policy. Kids are not asked to stay home for 24 hours fever free. Noses are hardly wiped; the mucus is usually dried on if not dripping down their face.
Menu- Meals: Nothing is offered fresh, all canned or frozen and a lot of pre-made fried foods. Feeding instructions were not followed.
Staffing: Turnover is terrible. No stability for the kids (re-read structure). Transfer of information from person to another is nonexistent, even to the parent. Staff is seen often ignoring the kids for their own conversations. Staff constantly quitting? I wonder "why"?

If you still love the place after a tour be sure to ask for references, and stay to speak with parents in the parking lot as they drop off or pick up to really hear if they truly love their experience.

Oh yeah, check out this from the Division of Child Development, "has issued one or more Administrative Actions for this facility in the past three years. For more information please contact the provider or submit this request form to the Division of Child Development".

and there are the other actions: http://ncchildcaresearch.dhhs.state.nc.us/Visits.asp?Facility_ID=92002556

Bottom line, run from this place.
