Brad Hensler has been cutting my hair for over 15 years. He is always insightful as to what is the best style for me and is great at explaining the details. Heather and Casey are always friendly and the vibe in the salon is always good. I would definitely recommend Brad as one of the city's best stylist for men's cuts!

Brad has been making me look sexy and handsome for over 12 years. I trust no one else, and have only strayed from him one time, which was a truly regrettable mistake. His talent and creativity keep my image fresh and stylish. He has the innate ability to comprehend your contemplated style, and the talent and experience to sculpt your locks into a functional and artistic representation of the imagined result. There is no substitute for this level of quality of talent.

I was a total "Hair-Ho" 'til I I started coming to Casey at Shyn Salon. Now I've found a home. The color always looks great and it LASTS..Then he layered my straight hair in an new way and it looks fab! I highly recommend!

I came to Brad for the first time and he gave me the best color and cut I have ever had. He listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. I was nervous since I have had some bad experiences at other salons in the past, but Brad is a TRUE MASTER! I truly had a WONDERFUL experience at Shyn!

Not only is Shyn a very cool place to escape and relax and enjoy the entire experience, Brad Hensler is, by far, the best hairdresser and colorist in Houston. Bar none!!!!

I have been going to Heather for years! I was so excited when she opened Shyn. I immediately made an appointment. I have never had a better hair cut and color. She is just amazing. No one else can manage my hair like her.
With the addition of an amazing esthetician, I can spend a whole day here and get pampered.
You will leave looking and feeling amazing.
Also, they have the friendliest person who answers the phone and helps with appointments. She'll even call to make sure you are happy with your services.
First class all the way.

I've been with Brad almost 20 years and during that time I've also had the pleasure of experiencing the professionalism/friendships of Heather and Casey as well. My hair looks awesome, thanks to them. Heather cares for each client with her heart and is devoted to styling just for you and making it work. Brad is amazing with color. He loves the challenges that color can create. They only make him better. Casey has a sense of style that blends in the shop to create the most wonderful atmosphere. Then there's Cori and Patti! You can NOT go wrong at Shyn Salon. You will feel and look your best as you enjoy truly remarkable people that Pamper and Care for their clients. You WILL SHYN out in the crowd if you have this team there for you.

I would follow Brad Hensler anywhere for color! We go way back and he has the magic touch so that I don't go orange or aubergine. And his cuts last forever. So glad he, Heather and Casey are together!

I have been getting my hair cut and styled by the Shyn Salon team for the past 5 years. After having sampled many stylists at different salons, I can truly say that these are the BEST in Houston. They are on the cutting edge of all things beauty (hair, make-up, and skin) and personalize your look to bring out your best attributes. Not only do you get to come out looking great, but you form an instant bond. I personally have been going to Casey, but you cannot go wrong with any of these amazing stylists!

I recently switched to Shyn Salon and had my cut and color done by Casey Clay. He was able to really listen to what I wanted and give me the best possible version of it. I'm always looking for a stylist that has a clear vision of what will work best for you and is able to integrate that into what you want. Casey is that stylist. The atmospere inside the salon is totally chill and beautiful. Everyone there is obviously hip and forward thinking but very welcoming and charming at the same time. I'll definitely be going back to Shyn!

After several seasons of the same boring hair coloring at an anonymous Houston salon, I came to Casey at Shyn. Casey not only listened and adapted to the requests that I had for my hair, but he styled and took the time to make sure that my color would be appropriate for my skin tone. The hair cut was fresh and hip, and the color is bolder and more vibrant than I have ever seen. Thanks for a comfortable and refreshing experience!

Casey Clay is the best in Houston for Great Lengths! His cuts and color are amazing as well. I've had comments from other hairdressers in other cities that my extensions were the best they have seen. That speaks volumes in my opinion.
Shyn is a very hip yet unassuming salon with a casual and easy feel and a personable staff.
Cory, their esthetician is so sweet and very knowledgeable about skin care. I can't wait until my next facial.
Overall...a great experience.

I really like this salon. Heather is great with color and cut. She talks to you about your ideas and hers, and you know what is going on. She wants to get it 'right' for you, and will work until she does. She seems very experienced, but current with her ideas and techniques. I've never been disappointed.

I've used the other stylists - Brad and Casey - too, when they were elsewhere, and both are outstanding. They are sensitive to your needs, like Heather.

And all three are just nice people.

The location is just off 59 at the Richmond exit, so it's really convenient to downtown.

I wouldn't go anywhere else, and recommend it to women and men.
