Karina is the best manicurist. Her pedicures are too die for. She really takes her time and knows how to pamper. If you are looking for a relaxing experience in a clean environment, Karina is the one!!!!!!

Mickey and the other stylists really put care and forethought into their work.
I see great hair leaving here all the time.
I am a Mickey convert-- I've gotten dozens of great haircuts from other stylists in my time but Mickey's cuts last weeks and weeks, and his color is great, as well. I also learned that he does eyebrow waxing, and he is the best I've been to so far in that department, too.

They've recently started doing nails, so I am excited to try the OPI Axiom gel overlay thing :)

I'm so glad that Mickey branched out onto his own and opened Michael Anthony Salon! It's one of the FEW salons in DC that is clean and modern with current and experienced stylists that still manages to maintain the quaint and personal feel of an old-school, small town salon where every client is made to feel welcome by ALL the stylists, conversation is encouraged, and you're likely to make new friends while waiting for your color to set! Services are great and stylist-owner Mickey Bolek is really knowledgeable about the products he uses and takes time to get to know his clients so that he can give you the style that you're looking for!

I've been Mickey's client since 1996. Even though I no longer live or work in the area, I still come back to his place for hair care. It's worth it. He's a terrific stylist. And, I appreciate the fact that he hires good people. If I can't get an appt with him, I know that someone good will be available to take care of me.

Didi is not your typical hair stylist. I met Didi as I was getting a manicure from a friend of mine at a local salon in Washington, DC. Honestly, I wasn't quite sure about allowing a hair stylist cut my hair after going to the barbershop all of my life. After the first haircut, I was so impressed that I have not visited a barber since! Didi seems understand hair like the back of her hand, and will ensure that she delivers quality work from the time you meet her until the time you walk away from her chair! Gentlemen: If you are sick and tired of barbers taking a razor to your head with no knowledge of hair, service or attentiveness to detail, I advise that you go and set your appointment up with Didi at Michael Anthony Salon right now!

Miguel always does an amazing job, whether with regular styling or for special events. He understands my thick, curly hair--he works with it instead of fighting with it! He even did a great job with my baby boy's first haircut! =)

I have been getting my hair colored and cut by Mickey for a long time. He has also done up-dos for me for big events. He is great and an excellent deal! I strongly recommend him!

Michael Anthony Salon is my final destination. I tried many places. Only Mickey is able to do my haircut so precise that I wash my hair and go. An addition because of clear-cut my haircut lasts for 6 weeks

I have been a client of Mickey's for many years and the new salon is fabulous. Mickey is highly skilled and a great advisor when it comes to keeping your image updated. Mickey has been doing my hair for years, and has only gotten better since opening his own salon. I am a semi-natural blonde, and Mickey makes sure that it looks that way. I've been coloring my hair for years, and he's the first person I met who doesn't try to make me look like Barbie. I love hair appointment; I feel glamourous every time I leave the chiar.

Mickey has been doing my hair for over 10 years and I've had nothing but compliments about his work all over the world. He gives a really great haircut and is a fantastic colorist who really knows his products and what works for his clients. He does not overcut and really listens to what I ask for. I am so excited that he opened his own salon and have already enjoyed a number of wonderful cuts and colorings since its opening. His staff are very friendly. The shop is bright, airy, and comfortable. I highly recommend him and his salon. Fantastique!

I highly recommend Michael Anthony Salon. The atmosphere is both fun and professional. You can really make yourself feel at home and always walk away with a quality experience. MIckey is a fantastic stylist and colorist. If you are looking for a change, he can help you figure out what that new look should be. If you want to maintain your existing look, he may suggest a way to freshen it up. If you don't frequent Michael Anthony Salon, you should! Just don't take my appointment slot!

New full service salon on Capitol Hill with a wide selection of hair products. Staff are professionally trained hair sytlists providing excellent service and innovative cuts! Price is comparable to other top salons in the metro area but what makes the expierence exceptional is the warm, friendly and accommodating culture eminated within the salon.Micheal Anthony's salon/stylists work to capture the individual clients style and creatively express that look via a cut/color that radiates!!!

I used to color my hair at home but then I began using Miguel @ Michael Anthony Salon. It is all the difference in the world. People think I quit coloring my hair since it looks so natural. Miguel is great, and I under stand educated at Paul Mitchell the School, to boot!

I had my hair cut, colored, and straightened by Miguel and it was WONDERFUL!!! He also does exactly what I want and has been the only person that can get my hair so soft and shiney.

Mickey has been my (and my husband's) hair stylist for at least 14 years (probably more). Our long-term commitment says it all. He really knows what he's doing and is an expert in adapting the cut/ color to an individual type of hair. He also has a wonderful sense of humor and we never leave the salon without having some good laughs. He has created a very friendly, warm atmosphere which in our experience is second to none.

Michael Anthony Salon is incredible. I would sit down in Mickey's chair blindfolded and let him do anything to my hair. He knows what works with my face and my lifestyle.
