If i could put less than one star, as in negative stars, I most definetley would. I used to adore this place because you really can't beat a $4 threading. That most definetley changed today. As my trusted regular stylist was closed, and i just REALLY wanted one strip of color in my hair, I decided to take the chance. How bad could they possible F*ck up one little strand of hair? Well, If you ever find yourself asking that question, leave. Run far, far away before you regret it.
When choosing my color, I specifically asked "Is this going to be red? I don't want orange. I want red." The lady just smiled and nodded. "Red, Red," She assured me. Liar.
The first thing I noticed while I was waiting for my dye job to dry was a creepy bug crawling across the floor. Not cool. Then I realized that the lady working on my hair had bleached it without even telling me. Strike two. I really started getting annoyed when she sent me to rinse the dye out of my locks. Most nice salons (or even not nice salons) have washing stations with horizontal seats in which you can lean back comfortably. I don't know if the Roma Salon was just cheap and didn't want to shell out for them or what, but water was dripping down my neck as this lady only washed THE TINY STRIP OF HAIR that I had gotten dyed. Nothing else. Only that 2 inch wide strip was dyed, washed, and blow-dryed. After rinsing that miniscule section of hair, I was told to get up, and walk across the whole salon, dripping across the floor and the front of my shirt. No towelling off. Nothing.
After everything was done, it hit me that this Indian lady had no idea what she was doing. Not only is my hair now a bright neon orange, but my roots are still my originaly black color. It's absolutley disgusting. My cheeks are tear stained and I have just gained enough composure to type this review. The worst part is, I can't even wait for it to fade. It's bleached. which I wasn't anticipating.

Between my mom and me, the "service"--if you can even call it that-- cost over $100 in tax and tip. She dyed her whole head, and her stylist (who was also the lady who turned me into an orange headed skunk) had the audacity to not even blow dry her hair.
I'm heading straight to the drug store tomorrow to buy black dye to cover it all up, and right now, I can't even stand to look at it. I have it pulled up and hidden under a headband so I won't have to see the ugly reminder of what the Roma Salon has done to me
I guess this is what I get for not being patient enough to wait my my trusted hair dresser: an orange head.

I can always count on the ladies at Roma to do my eyebrows in a snap and anything else I need to get done. They're always there and they're open til 8pm. I had to get my hair done for a party and I didn't make an appointment. They called someone in and had me out in an hour. Their other services are great too and reasonably priced compared to other salons.
