My 5 year old is just about to complete his 3rd year at Jardin, and we couldn't be more pleased with the school. The Jardin community is fantastic...filled with parents and teachers all working toward one goal: provide world-class

I've had my little girl in this school for 3 years. Its a family environment, safe and she has excelled with their curriculum. The teaching staff is loving and the administration seems to strive for continued excellence. I've recommended

My family did not have a good experience at this school. When I dropped my son off in the morning, sometimes I would have to wait a long time for the 1 staff member to come and greet him. I also noticed they leave the front door

The director is a liar. I had to pull my son out of there after three terrible months. The first month, they only used various substitutes. I was given different names when I asked who was the teacher of my son's class. My son was crying every morning when we dropped him off. We attempted to discuss the situations with teacher at 4:00pm and was told that the teacher only available to talk to me in the morning drop off time. The director who had never taught my son's class called me back and told me that my son needed to improve his skills of find motor skills and reading ability, and it was normal for kids to cry when attending a new school. She also told us that we may have caused his crying because we attempted to hang around the school after dropped him off. I knew for sure that she did not have direct contact with my son in school. I asked her for a written report for what she had told me over the phone. She denied that a written report was available.

The 2nd month, they had a permanent SUBSTITUTE for my son's class. My son stopped crying in the morning because he found a friend in the same class with whom he could play. But, I never received any written or oral reports about what he had done in the class. No body to ask. When we were looking for other schools. A caring teacher came to teach the class in the 3rd month. But, the teacher would only teach the class for one month. After three months, we had enough nightmares from Jardin de Ninos.

The pros from my three month experience with this school are nice parents and friendly staff except for the director/owner.

The fees charged from this school are outrageous. The book fee is $125 a semester. The poor quality uniform costs $45 per piece. The materials/supplies fees are higher than any other day cars or schools.

I would recommend Jardin De Ninos to every parent. The director Adriana Rodrigues is always on site, available for consultation and is engaged with the children. She has sought highly educated and caring teachers who are commited to excellence in both education and child care. It is more than a school, it is an extended family and community. My husband and I feel good and trust the care and education that the school provides

This school is the best thing that ever happened for my kids. They have been learning some incredible things. My 4 year old is completely fluent and my 1st grader is doing solid 3rd grade material in both Spanish and English. The teachers are extremely loving and want to teach these kids everything. The Director is doing a great job and is always doing everything to go out of her way to help, no matter what it is. I wish I had this opportunity when I was a kid.

When I first enrolled my son in this school more than a year ago I was very excited about him learning Spanish and enjoying the school environment. His first teacher was wonderful. Caring, thoughtful and my son enjoyed school and was learning lots of Spanish. In the past year many of the talented teachers have left the school because they are unhappy with the director. When I have brought concerns to the director I felt that she did not listen. She would become angry and deffensive during the conversation. Many parents have told me that they also had this experience and have either left the school or are looking for another program.
I am glad that I was able to find another school in which the teachers, director and parents can work together for the benefit of the school.
I certainly will not recommend this school.

A very bad school. They do not moniter the classrooms and they have bullying problems. We complained and were told it wasn't true, so we tried to sit in on the class, but then were told it was "against Texas law" for us to be in the classroom. We told them this was not true since our AISD elementary school has an Open Door Policy and we are welcome anytime. Why wouldn't they want parental involvement? And why lie to their parents about a "Texas Law' that won't allow us to sit in on a classroom. There is no such law. I think because the classes are not properly monitered and they don't want the parents to see that.
Also this school proudly tells us they model themselves after the schools in Mexico. Really? Don't they have one of the worst educational problems in the world?
This school is a waste of money and time. There are much better bilingual schools for kids that actually welcome parental involvement
