Okay....so I ordered the Caesar salad with Salmon... The taste was pretty good, but then I came to the real treat after I had eaten about two-thirds of my salad -- a piece of lettuce which was covered with dirt, and a nice black beetle. Yes, folks, a beetle....lying dead beneath my dirty lettuce. But, that wasn't even the real kicker. The real kicker was the manager's attitude when we showed him the beetle. He said, "Oh, it's just a beetle." As in what?!!! At least it's not a roach?!!! He suggested that since it is the summer, it's hard to contain bugs....which I will agree with. HOWEVER, the bug was dead at the bottom of my plate (a); and (b) what about the dirty lettuce. And, I am not a restaurant basher, but people should have the experience of ALL customers and not just the ones who had good experiences. The manager DID NOT charge me for my salad, but his nonchalant attitude was not good at all.... The atmosphere was nice, minus the gnats and flies you had to fan away. But, again.....it is summer and I realize it is difficult to keep bugs out. But.....hey, here's a thought! Try keeping them out of your customers' plates!! For the bug and the dirt, I'm giving this restaurant one star, even though the food was pretty good. You cannot have good food, but be negligent in the presentation department! No! One star. A came home and ate garlic any bacteria I may have picked up from the dirt and the beetle!
