I am actually writing this review for Catherine Grogan. She is excellent and I am grateful to her for discovering and sending me to a specialist. She is personable and gracious. I reccommend this clinic to all.
Dr. Ragland is very good to her patients also.
I have never seen Dr. Saade but he has great people at his clinic in Crowley.

I was a walk in a month ago and was extremely please with the staff and especially the doctors. I already had a primary care physician I had been using for 10 years. While I was there the nurse informed me that they also offered family medicine. Since then I have switched to Total Care full time.

I have insurance and I have never been charged any outrageous fee that were mentioned by others. So maybe it was your insurance??

I recommend these doctors to anyone!! I am very pleased!!

Keep doing what you are doing Total Care! I am a patient for life!!

Beautiful facility, great care- but beware. They have a hidden $200 charge for a walk in fee, and they are not set up to take your Health Savings Card. They told me my portion ( the contracted rate) would be $70 for an office visit. I paid with my credit card since they don't take HSA cards. 6 months later I get a bill that includes a $200 after hours charge. When I called and told the biller it was 10 AM in the morning when I was there, she told me it is really a "walk in" charge. If you don't have an appointment they charge $200 extra, see what the insurance will pay, then bill the rest to the patient. Come on!!! This is an urgent care facility. 99 % of the patients should be walk-ins since it advertises as an URGENT CARE FACILITY. If they are not, they shouldn't advertise as an urgent care facility. AND- IF THEY ARE CHARGING YOU $200 EXTRA FOR NOT HAVING AN APPOINTMENT THEY SHOULD TELL YOU THAT UP FRONT! Had I known, I'd have driven 10 minutes down the road to Care Now. I've never been charged a "walk in" fee there. What a rip off!!

I took my friend, who has had 9 strokes and has many other health issues, to Total Care in Crowley, about a yr ago when he had a burst ear drum. Since he'd been using JPS, I knew it would take us hours and hours to have someone look at his ear so I took him to the clinic. We saw the PA, who prescribed him antibiotics and a follow up visit with an ear dr at huguley. The next time he had to go to the doctor, we saw Dr. W. He is a very caring, very friendly doctor and my friend liked him immediately. Since then, we've "adopted" Dr W as his primary care physician and have not been sorry. Dr W's brother, Dr R, is also a very nice and compassionate doctor and we feel lucky to have found them and their clinic. They also have a very nice facility in Joshua. For the person who complained they had a heart attack, if they were having chest pains, they should have gone directly to the ER instead of a clinic and the $80 charge probably had to do with they kind of insurance they had. We've never had to pay a "walk-in" fee. Not even the first time we were there. Again, it probably has to do with your insurance. We're very pleased.

i went here with chest pains. they charged me 80 dollars to walk back to an exam room. i was given a prescription of an antibiotic. they then decided to do an ekg, while i laid there in pain having what i later found out was a major heart attack the doctor stood over me and told me i would have to pay 90 more dollars to have an ekg. when she looked at it she said it was "abnormal" and that i should go to the emergency room in the next 3 days to have a blood test done. again she said i was having a upper respitory infection and that the chest pains were the result of the infection, the next day i went to hughley er and showed the doctor my ekg. they flipped out when they saw it and said i was having a heart attack, i was rushed to the or and had a stint put in. all of the doctors said that my original ekg from total care clearly showed that i was having a full blown heart attack. had i been properly diagnosed i would probaly have less heart damage than i have now. avoid this place if you value your life and health,

I went to Total Care because we moved here and I did not have a primary care physician yet. I was in the bed deathly ill for a week and went to clinic. I was diagnosed with Swine Flu and given meds and sent home. After being in the bed another week only getting worse we went back to Total Care Clinic and they said that I still had Swine Flu. I kept complaining about this stabbing pain in my side and back and they could not tell me what that was. They changed up the meds and sent me home again. After 3 more days of only getting worse I went to the Harris Methodist Hospital. There I was told that I definately had Swine Flu, but I also had pneumonia. The Dr. at the hospital said that I was very close to dying. I had not held anything down in 2 weeks, my urine was red, and I had a severe case of pneumonia. I just put my life in their hands and they should have told me that they were not capable of handling what I had in the clinic. I do understand that it is just a clinic, but where we moved from the clinic in our town handled these types of things and more. We even asked if I should go to the hospital and they said that the meds should take care of everything. I think the clinic is good for very, very minor things, but definately not anything more. The Staff and Doctors were friendly and it was very clean.

I was happy with this place until I received a billing summary/invoice.. They charged $138 per visit PLUS an additional $200 per visit because the visit was what they called "after hours" even though the visit was within their posted "open for business" hours.
Their unpublicized surprise is that visits after 4pm weekdays and all of weekends are what they call "after hours" and subject to an additional $200 charge.
My insurance co. covered most of the bill.. I don't know if what I consider high charges adversely affected what they paid or the portion I paid.
The treatment and doctors were good. I would return but try not to go in their $200 "after hours."
Also, they charge an additional $100 for the first visit .
If money is a concern to you, know the cost of all their services before you receive them.

I came across Total Care when my primary care doctor was out of town-when I arrived I realized that not only were they an emergency medicine, urgent care clinic, but, that they also provide primary care for adults and children. They have pediatricians on staff, family doctors-whatever your family needs, Total Care is a kind of one stop shop. They have the rooms divided between adults and pediatrics-SMART!!!!!-and the facility is brand new and gorgeous. The staff is well trained and very professional. My insurance plan is accepted and billed by Total Care. I don't have to do a thing. They are convenient to just about everywhere.
