I have been going to the Brickhouse for several years, and I used to enjoy going there with Clients, Co-workers, Friends, the Wife, etc. I don't know what has happened in the past 8-10 months maybe a management change or something.

This place is nice with big screen TVs, Lazy Boy recliners, huge fireplace all inside complete with bar. Go outside, a bar with seating, huge roaring fire and tables and chairs with more Big screen TVs. You can order Beer bongs on tap even

We visited BHT for the first and last time from NYS. The service & food were HORRIBLE!!! You don't go there for the food. If you are into baby prostitutes(the waitresses) then go the BHT; otherwise, save your $$$$ and cook at home.

We have gone to this place probably 10 times in the past, and it continues to get worse.

First of all the beers and drinks are stupidly overpriced. Probably get away with it because of the number of d-bags that frequent the place. Full

I called Chris the Day manager of Brick House because there was an additional charge on my card (in my bank statement) that I had not authorized. I called in an attempt to resolve this without getting the police involved only to have Chris

2 ppl. n my party were given the same tab to pay & the 1 that was paying the wrong tab didn't realize it until given change. after bringing it to their attn., it was a fiasco to get the $5 back. it's not alot of $$, but it's the principle. it almost seemed as tho the waitress was trying to pocket the $ the way it was done. very sneaky if done intentionally & if not....DUMB WAITRESS!! we were fighting flies like crazy. they should hand fly swatters out as u enter. very bad experience.....will NEVER return. i wouldn't have even given it 1 star if i didn't have 2 give it something.

Have gone to Brick House Tavern several times and it was one of our fav. resturants but after this evening we won't hurry back.

You would think at the early hour of 4 p.m. you would have the prime service and food that a place of this caliber wants to serve. But not so. We ordered the Chipswith White Queso & Blue Cheese a first course munchie. The cheese dip was a bland yellow glob and I don't think anyone in the kitchen had a clue as to what Blue Cheese looks like or taste like. These chips use to just have the best "bite" ever for us blue cheese lovers. The cheeses were bland and the chips were thick no taste at all.
When it came to our dinner orders I had the Beef Tenderloin Salad ( It had two small pieces of beef that were over cooked and couldn't have been more than 2 oz.) Four sugar walnuts and two slices of tomato. All of this was soaked in a horrible Balsmic Vinegarette.
Of course I sent it back to the kitchen since all I could taste was the dressing that was floating in the bowl of my $10. 99 salad. I was told that the managers were doing the cooking and that is what was wrong with the food. Which makes me wonder what they train the managers? Not one of the managers came to check with us after we complained but they did send the waitress that had been working for them all of 4 weeks to tell us we didn't have to pay for my salad.
I am certain where they are located they get the business that they need to stay in business but we won't be taking company there again.

Went there last night waited 15 minutes to get a waitress out on the patio, waited about another 10 min to be waited on after we got a table inside, food was expensive and nothing to write home about, and if you are going to spend that much money for heaters on the patio use them.

Wow, what an experience today @ the Brick House in Humble. The waitress looked like she had swallowed a spare tire, with all our food in it. She took our order then had to retake it because she couldn't figure it out. Then an hour into it, our mediocre food came out and wasn't even appealin. Brick House, more like shit house.

Pros: Beer

Cons: Waitress with saddlebags and gunshot wounds

This place is supposed to appeal to the guys (kind of wolfies and hooters like). I I go with my husband for the tv's (there are a lot - great place to catch a sports game), beer choices and good eats. I like the pretzel sticks that come with different dipping sauces and they have wine.

I have been here several times and only once have I had a nice waitress. All of the girls there are so rude and don't know a thing about customer service. We keep going back thinking things will change but they don't. It's a shame because it is so close by us. It's not worth the terrible service. We won't be back.

This was our first time to Brick House. We were promptly seated & promptly served. Service was very good. Portions are quite generous. Water glasses were promptly refilled. Extra napkins were on the table. Nicely varied menu. Tables were situated a nice distance apart so you aren't sharing conversation with strangers.

I tried Brick about a month after it opened here. I cant say enough good things about it. The food has been perfect every time, the beer is always cold, and the variety of beers is unrivaled by most places around.

Also the waitresses are VERY attentive, even sitting down to take your order with you. It helps that they dont wear a lot too :) give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

We first went on New Years around 5pm and they were not serving any beer because no one there knew how to fix the keg! Crazy, an ale house without beer. Happened the 2nd time we went also. THe food tasted ok, but my salad took 450 minutes to come and it was kinda slow out but the decor is striking and the fire pits are cozy. Id call and see if they have draft beer before you drive out there though. Also the waitresses dress in less than the waitresses and H00ters so dont bring your kids or Mom's or anyone sensitive to that kinda thing

Visited for the first time this weekend. Can't comment on the food as we had dinner at Lisa's Kitchen prior to our evening out. We hung out around the stadium seating area and scored a few of them for us gals. The service will be improved i am sure but for a first timer i am hooked. The beer bong is a must! It will definitely be our first choice over the local sports bar. TV's galore!!! Get there early for the game. Opening day for the Astros should be a smash for the place. Nice deck for the up coming seasons. Going back next weekend for sure.

OK, where do I begin? Some friends went here for a birthday and wanted to get a few beers. There's one bar in the whole place and chairs surround it so you can't get any service. (You can clearly see that in the picture above) There were 5 dingbats behind the bar and they looked confused the entire time. There's very little organization. I think I stood at the bar for 30 minutes while the 4 foot tall waitresses owned the only place you could walk up for a beer. They were throwing elbows like Bill Laimbeer. Eventually I left and can guarantee I will never be back. Nice idea, but poor execution.

Pros: Giant beer with tap, but you can't get one

Cons: Service, Seating, Bar Access, Parking

.

this place is not a typical "bar". if that's what you want, go to downtown. seating is provided at the bar for the guests who want to sit there and order directly from the bar. there are 15+ cocktail servers/waitresses available throughout the restaurant whom you can place your alcohol order with. the cocktail servers are there for the customers who want to stand instead of "dining in." so grab one of those girls instead of a bartender. chances are you'll get your drink much faster and you can create that relationship with a particular member of staff. the cocktail servers and waitresses have the quickest and easiest access to the bartenders. so if you want a drink, ask your them!!!

Wow - atmosphere - gorgeous - comfortable - beautiful setting - outdoor fire pits - incredible food. Bar opens to outside terrace with tons of TV's and comfortable sitting with private TV/sports viewing. It's all about the beer and all about the food. Their exclusive DNA is all about "Bringing Happiness to the Common Man" for Brick House Tavern and Tap - new concept, great results. Fish and chips, meat loaf that melts in your mouth, deviled eggs, hamburgers, weekend brunch. Check out website at www.brickhousetavernandtap to see full menu and incredible list of beers - check out the "beer bongs" that they serve. Not something you see at any other restaurant in Houston. This is their second restaurant opening in the nation. Their first in Downer's Grove-Chicago is doing fabulous as ascertained by the Chicago Bears! Just ask your local firefighter in Houston and they will agree that you have got to check this place out!! You will not be disappointed in the food, the service or the liquor! Enjoy!
