This was the worst place I've ever lived.

I had a very similar experience to the previous person. They were completely disorganized and lost everything. We had to get receipts every time we interacted with them because they would lose our rent checks, our contact information, and any maintenance requests we had. We had a terrible rodent problem, and for months they told us that they would get us mouse traps. We stopped by their office every week, and every time we were told that "oh, we'll have them next week for you."

When they tried to evict us because they lost our rent money (which they had cashed, by the way), they sent us a letter giving us a mere 14 days to leave the premises (which is illegal). When they finally admitted it was their fault, their response was, "Well, we have A LOT of property, it happens." Obviously they have so much property that they can't take care of their tenants.

Our fire alarm would go off at 2 in the morning in the winter. It would take the maintenance person on call usually at least an hour and a half to get there to turn it off. The firemen couldn't turn it off, because it was such a weird system.

Any time they had to enter the apartment, they would only notify one of the 3 tenants. I'm pretty sure that's illegal, too. We kept asking them to notify everyone. Finally after months of this, one person told us that they didn't have the contact info for anyone else in the unit!

Our experience was completely absurd. I do not understand how this place can still be in business. Oh, wait, that's right, they lost all our paperwork documenting that we had turned in our keys, etc., so they took the majority of our deposit money for bogus claims when we moved out.

I have a million stories about how terrible they are. Their property is completely overpriced for the white-washed garbage that they are.

Don't sign a lease with them!!!

I lived at an apartment run by Signature Community for two years and the management is terrible. They are incapable of creating and/or maintaining business records, so they never know what you have done in the past. This is a particular problem because they often have new employees.

At one point they lost a rent check and threatened to evict, only to later admit they lost it. My roommates and I made them sign receipts ever since.

Do not live here! I wish I could give them less than one star!

Cons: Inept, rude, lazy
