They quoted one price for a neuter but it costs me a lot more when I picked up my dog. The assistant talked very fast and loud through the paperwork. Very unprofessional group. I know some people like them but I was not impressed.

Dr. Abby Snyder is awesome and I would trust her with any of my pets. She is honest and forthright with the hard answers. I would take her word over any vet there is. I would rather trust her inexperience than a vet I do not know who has all of the experience in the world.

I moved to Grandview after a job transfer. Have two dogs that were up to date on shots but one had a little blood in her urine. I gave the receptionist (which looked like a deer in the head lights everytime I asked a question) all the records from my previous vet. The next thing I know they vaccinated the dog again, did a blood test and urine test and then wanted to do xrays. I agreed to the xrays but told them I was not paying for the shots because they didn't need those shots and I didn't ask for them. Then the receptionist said she couldn't find on my records where they had the shots before. Not that it matters because I didn't ok the shots but I showed her on the records where the dog did have the shots. She laughed and said I was was overcharged from my previous vet. Maybe all the ear rings she had in kept her brain from working properly.

As I waited for the receptionist to remove the charges for shots my dog did not need, she starts talking to another girl that works about this crazy client they have in another room that smells bad and the pets smell bad. I was amazed that they did this right in front of me. Two weeks had past and I heard nothing about the blood in my dogs urine. After leaving two messages I gave up and went to another vet. Their office called and had my records moved and I was able to get the test results.

Never have I been in a medical office that has been so unorganized and so unprofessional. The building is old and smells foul. I feel sorry for the dogs that stay there for any length of time as I doubt they get treated any better than the humans do.

I've taken my dog to many vets in the area, and needlessly spent a lot of money. I was impressed when I first came in and everyone knew the animals & owners by name. Now to me that's people that take their job personal. I have a large Husky (#100+lbs) and they were so gentle with him. Even working with him on the floor so we didn't have to lift him onto a table. Dr. Snyder was straight foreword with the diagnosis and what she recommended. She also mention getting a second opinion from a specialists because of his condition, I thought this was very gracious of her. and would recommend this vet clinic to anyone looking for the personal and premium health care for the loved animals. As for the other review, both vets here are women and perhaps the got the wrong animal clinic that they reviewed.

We used this vet when we first moved to town. Before he even approched our dog he had him muzzled. I was taken aback by this but it was not the only disqualifying thing that occured. He was not gentle--he was rough and in my opinion he did not seem to care for animals.

PROS: none
CONS: uncaring vet
