Juan Mon's has a great variety of wonderful flavors put together in one sandwich. I always have a hard time deciding which one to have. The #6 Cancun, and #4 Berlin
seem to be my favorite. Don't stop there though let's try them all. We drive from Oak Forest just to get a good sandwich. I recommend you try Juan Mon's out today.

A GREAT alternative to those sandwich chains. Juan Mon's has 17 different sandwich choices on the menu, including several vegetarian options. We had the #5 Buenos Aires with chicken milanesa, oaxaca cheese, avocado/tomato/lettuce and Chipotle salsa. The chicken was tender and moist, the bolillo roll was soft but the Chipotle salsa was more like a paste. Also had the#11 Mexico City with beef milanesa, oaxaca cheese, avocados and marinated jalapenos. Restaurant was clean and sandwiched were priced very reasonable. Choice of chips includes several from the Dirty's chip line as well as some South American chips. Plasma TVs all around so you can watch your favorite game.

Thought we'd check out this interesting-sounding sandwich joint for lunch and it was incredibly good. I had the Rome and can't wait to try the other 16! Highly recommend this place and there's nothing else like it in Houston - kudos on bringing some flava to da hood!

Juan Montero came up with a real winner! A variety of 17 scrumptous sandwiches which he calls "Juanwiches" each representing flavors of an international city. Quality ingrediants and every sandwich is only $5.50! So far I hav had the Barcelona, and the Cancun. My wife had the Berlin tonight. Great atmosphere.

I just tried Juan Mons for the first time today and I think I just found my new favorite sandwich spot. I had the Mexico City. It had breaded steak, jalapenos, and some type of cheese I haven't had before. The atmosphere was chill. Overall a great experience.

What a great breath of fresh air in the Houston sandwich scene!
I had the # 17 Venice, and while it seemed a little odd of a combination when I ordered it, I could not put it down .

Pros: Fresh bread, multiple combintions

Ate here for lunch, got the San Diego (beef, cheese, salsa, and awesome red potato strings) upon recommendation, and it was freaking good. Great combination of ingredients; they know the cardinal rule of sandwiches: the bread makes the sandwich. Well done, will come back for more... the London looks amazing.

Pros: Fresh bread, flavorful, inexpensive

Cons: Kinda messy... the 'wich that is, the place itself is clean

Housed in a renovated gas station and garishly painted green in the sleek, modern interior, Juan Mon’s physical qualities only hint at the shop’s quirky character. Each of the 17 sandwiches on the menu were inspired by owner Juan Montero's…
