The service is absolutely terrible. I just went to the Yellow Rose and it was one of the worst dining experiences that I have had in years all due to bad service.
First there were 3 people in our party one of which was a child. They only provided flatware and plates for 2. They never brought a 3rd set, so I ended up having to go to a neighboring table myself to get them (when the bread and salad arrived).

Earlier, we ordered an appetizer, which never arrived. Once 2 of the 3 entrees arrived, I told the waiter to cancel the appetizer. He again apologized and said that he had forgotten to enter the appetizer into the system.

By the point that our entrees arrived all of our drinks were also sitting empty. They had only refilled them when they were bringing the check.

Back to only 2 of 3 entrees arriving. Of course the 2 entrees that arrived were for the adults. The child's entree did not arrive until we were nearly finished with our entrees. So of course, the adults gave up a portion each to the child to tide him over until his food would be out in "just a couple of minutes". I got up and asked about it to no avail. He ordered chicken fingers, it is not like it takes 30 minutes to cook them. But it took easily 30 minutes for them to finally arrive at our table.

By the time his food finally arrived he was almost full from eating the adult's food. And still no drinks to be refilled. The waiter did not even stick around long enough ever to ask for drinks.

The food is decent, better than outback but at an average of 10 to 15 bucks more expensive per person than outback (expect to pay 30-35 bucks per person assuming ordering a salad, entree, non-alcoholic drinks). But not worth the price difference. Especially when you consider the service at outback is incredible compared to what we experienced tonight.

At the end of the meal, we even had to wait several minutes until he finally brought the bill.

To say the least I will not be going back

My husband and I had gone in for the great happy hour prices and decided to try the NY Strip dinners as well. The steaks did not seem to be good quality (not sure if it's because we chose the dinner feast, 2 meals for $49). There was really no flavor or seasoning to speak of. The check came and we realized the draft beers were actually $1.50 vs the advertised price of $1.00 that came out in the Ad Pages the day before. We gave the ad to the waitress and she said "oh they went up". So, I gave her the ad so she could let the owner know that he was still advertising the less expensive price. I know it's not alot of money, just think if a price is advertised that it should be honored. We saw her go over and speak to a gentleman who we believe to be the owner but he never stopped by to welcome us or even thank us for coming in. Not real impressed, probably will not go back.

The food is fabulous! The london broil is to die for. I have not had anything that wasn't really good (I've been there many times). Happy hour has all appetizers/drinks 1/2 price. The owners are always there and treat you as if you were dining in their home! Very nice.

May be worth second try. Service was slow but flexible. We had a large group and some were displeased. My meal was good and the service was ok - the manager did come to help and try to make all happy. It is pricey but not outrageous.

We had one of our fundraisers here and the service was bad and the the food was way over priced. So expensive that I got an appitizer. The waiter was flustered and the room that he put us in was hot and loud. I will not return even if I have someone else paying...

The steaks were great and everyone enjoyed their food. Service was questionable and at times even rude. I often thought, "whose the customer?". I won't be back!

We had an event at Yellow Rose with about 20 people. Food was good. Service OK. Was a little disappointed Happy Hour was only in bar area, since bar was too small for all of us, or we would have started there! Nice atmoshere!
