Sabroso Grill is a great lunch place. Their menu is small but everything on it is wonderful! GO there with your family!

I was there with my family on a cold New Years Day afternoon. From their appetizers to their desserts everything was absolutely delicious.

Sabroso is not a restaurant where you get huge quantities of food; however, who wants to eat a lot of beans and rice when you really want fajitas?

I have definitely recommended this restaurant to all my friends. I say the place is a little expensive, however, you are getting quality. Every time I don't feel like paying for a nice plate of good food I go to a taqueria.

Pros: Food and service

Cons: not enough heat

Sabroso Grill is just another boring expensive Mexican restaurant. I went there with my girlfriend for a nice calm dinner on a Friday night.

The service was good, they seat us immediately at arrival the table had a nice centerpiece candle.

We started sharing an expensive guacamole ($7.99) with a little too much spices I?m not sure if it was too onion or garlic and a spice that I couldn?t identify with some greasy chips.

I had the chicken fajitas, with some refried beans, rice, and a tiny salad, nothing that I can?t find in any corner Mexican restaurant. To drink I had a banana milk shake, $3.50 !!!! How expensive can be a glass of milk, a banana and some sugar be?

My girlfriend had the grilled steak; it was OK, but also with refried beans and rice, and a jarrito to drink.

We both had flan ($ 3.99 each) and Mexican coffee that just tasted like cinnamon.

Ring, ring, the check, $ 48.73!!!!!!! plus tip

Sabroso Grill is a wanna be high class restaurant, I took a pick at the kitchen (you can see it if you sit on the back) and they have OLD kitchen appliances like the chicken roaster used for their famous Roasted Chicken, maybe to give flavor impregnated with grease.

Overall, this is just a regular pricy Mexican restaurant; if they reduce the prices they should be OK.

Sabroso is family owned and operated. Located in the heart of Albany Park if you find yourself in that area stop in for a great meal. If you go to their website you can print out a coupon. Make sure to save room for dessert and order the Pina Colada Flan with coconut sauce.
