Plaza Rugs

The shop in Maplewood, St. Louis, MO is quaint (more of a boutique-style), and it's mostly to browse through a multitude of rug samples (although they do have a few full size rugs, too). But their online selection has over 10,000 rugs, and you can search through them on a big flat screen in the store (as well as in your home, of course).

What really makes this rug shop stand out is the personalized attention you receive. They're family-owned and friendly, and they actually understand home decor and will let you test out samples in your home. It's nice to have someone help you find the perfect rug instead of pressuring you into a quick sale.

They have a lot of designer brands, but also reasonable prices and some good sales. It's definitely worth checking out.
