Servpro of Rocky Hill

Roofers put a faulty roof on my house after the 2011 hail storm & water poured in my house for 3 mo. while I was working out of state. Servpro of Rocky Hill/South Knoxville was hired to re-mediated water intrusion in my house. The Roofers filed a claim with their insurance company and signed ServPro's financial papers. I only signed authorization to allow them in my house to work and refused to sign financial responsibility!

Their employees did not clean my house properly, negligently damaged my personal properly & left my house unlocked 2 times when they came over to check their machines while I was having to live in a hotel. They took my damaged things to their office for repair & kept them for months without fixing them. They hired a contractor who did some work & never returned to finish after 6 weeks. One of their untrained employees hot fogged for mold & did not cover up my expensive furniture & got everything from ceiling to floor covered in a sticky residue.

The ""crew chief"" assigned to my claim was sent off to water intrusion school to get trained during the middle of their remediation! They had to clean 2 extra days just to remove the mess they made fogging my house! Their managers are not properly trained and if they get another big job while working on your claim...they will put you on the back burner and not come back to your house for weeks...delaying the settlement of your claim.

After 3 months of delaying my claim and not handling my claim properly I asked for my things back & for the Insurance Company to fire them. When I did this they presented me with a $35,000 bill for services rendered which included charges for things they did not do at my house. I reported to the Insurance Company that I would not sign off from them to get paid as their bill was incorrect and I did not want to commit insurance fraud.

They started sending blackmail letters threatening me and stating they would return my damaged personal property only if I paid their $ 35,000 bill. I had to get the police to go with me to get my things from their Sutherland Ave office so now they are threatening to put a lien on my house and send me to a collection attorney. The Roofers insurance company is paying the claim & the Roofers took financial responsibility for their charges but they are harassing me because I have proof of their negligence and fraud.

BEWARE of ServPro owner John Greenway and the rest of his crew. They are unethical, dishonest and I believe they committed insurance fraud on my claim. You will wish ""LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED"" that YOU LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE if you hire this company!
