My dog would go every day if I would let her. She adores everyone who works there, and they are so great with her.
Where to start. I have a 4 year old cocker spaniel and used DDD because of the reviews. Took my pup on a Saturday to be bathed and groomed. They told me to pick her up at 5... got there around 5:25 just to be safe and I walk to the grooming counter and tell a man I'm there to pick up my dog Coco. He then proceeds to tell me she's aready been picked up... which of course got my mind racing and I simply said ""ummm no she hasn't because I'm here to get her."" After a panic and him taking me behind the scenes to look for her... i find her tied up covered in shampoo and had been shaved down completely. They close at 6 on Saturdays and she wasn't even remotely ready to go home. After the initial shock of thinking they had given my dog away and seeing how she was being treated, I demanded they rinse her off and give her to me because i didn't feel comfortable with her in there with those people anymore. I can't even imagine what happened to her the 6 hours she was there that day. I paid out of the kindness of my heart (signed the Credit Card slip for $35) and couldnt leave fast enough. Inspected my dog when we got to the car and noticed her nails hadn't been trimmed, she had patches of hair that hadn't even been shaved (uneven all over). Later that night I noticed a huge bleeding chunk missing out of her EAR (a piece of her ear the size of my fingernail is missing) and proceeded to get infected over the week. I've called at least 4 times to speak with the owner who was said to be out of town and have yet had a phone call returned after almost 2 weeks. Also, after checking my bank account, they charged me $50 which I am now disputing with my bank since I have credit card receipt proof that that was not the amount supposed to be charged. Have also reported them to BBB and hopefully they read this and see the seriousness of their negligence. If this isnt how you want your animal and bank account to be treated, i HIGHLY recommend you avoid this terrible place.
They've groomed our lab a handful of times (black labs don't need a lot of attention in that department) but he always comes back looking shiny and smelling pretty.
Took great care of my dogs while I was away.
It is great to be able to trust those that you're leaving your dog/family member with when your unable to take them along.

They have webcams so you can watch your pooch play or just check in to make sure all is well, but more importantly, the staff really seems to get to know each and every animal that is there.
They take care of us and our boy Shadow every time. I do not have one single thing to complain about this wonderful place...and neither does Shadow!
First I have two dogs which have had groomed monthly the entire time I have had them. Today i was told they would be ready by 1:00 for pickup but I could arrive anytime afterwards. Well when I arrived at 4:30 the front desk lady (who was very nice and helpful and concerned) tells me that a lady that was only supposed to bathe the dogs ended up cutting one of my dogs tails and the owner (the man not the woman) wasn't going to tell me and when I eventually saw it at home would have at that point brushed it off as though it was an accident that happened at my home. I of course insist at that point to see my dogs. I have a shih tzu and anyone that knows about them knows the hair on the tail stays long arou d 5-6 inches and they do trim it but do not cut any amount off, which was also something I specified when they got my preferences of how I wanted my dog. Well before my dog was even brought out I could hear her in the back crying, possibly on the way up but before she made it to me. The tip of her tail was cut along with the side! Blood and all left on my dogs cut tail bone and her obviously in pain and was crying like she hasn't ever done in the 4 years I have had her. First, my dog sat up there for at least 3.5 hours with her tail cut and bleeding with her in bad pain and not one person called me to tell me what had happened or that my animal had been hurt and cut.. The lady I spoke with that worked for the place said the lady that did this, named Diane, has had many issues and wasn't qualified to work there. When I asked to speak to the owner, he came to the front and never once said he was sorry, it was a bad thing, they should have called, NOTHING!!! He said (and I quote) ""well accidents happen so what do you want me to do about it and don't you think you are over reacting?"" mind you, I was crying because my dog was legitimately hurt and in visible pain. I said I wanted to take her to a vet of which they would need to pay and as he called a vet down the road he smirked and chuckled when he was on the phone with them as he tells them (and I quote again) ""yeah some girl is up here freaking out because we barely nicked her dogs tail...""
When he got off the phone I quickly told him how inappropriate it was of him to be laughing and as a business owner I would have expected him to have at least tried to make his customer feel a little better and I saw nothing funny about the situation...he then raised his voice at me and told me its NOTA BIG DEAL AND SHE IS JUST FINE, to which I did tell him he was a jerk and how dare he speak to me this way....his response ""Get the hell out of my salon and you are never welcome back here again!"" then he walked out of the place and went next door....even the staff that were working were shocked and told me if I choose to take further action they heard everything he said and will be a witness to what went on, how be treated me, how my dog was injured and no one called me.
I took my dog to the vet and she has to be on pain meds, antibiotics and a skin treatment as well as wear a cone for the next week and it was a pretty good and deep cut and not a ""little scratch"" like the husband of the owner discounted in my presence. For a business that centers around animals, they allowed my dog to sit in pain for hours and hours and never once even bothered to call me. And never said sorry. I am more mad that I didn't get a phone call as I would have been there in a minutes time to get my dog some treatment and help rather than her sit in the back and cry in pain for hours and hours. I am disgusted and plain horrified this place is in business.

Sunday, my black lab and I have been coming to Dees Doggie Den for about 3 months and we LOVE IT. She has a blast, they charge reasonable rates, and they take great care for my dogs! She does doggie day care from 7am-6pm some days and is totally worn out which makes me happy! I highly recommend bringing in your pet.
Dolly so far has been groomed there, boarded for several days and given a bath. I will say that Dolly is very socialized and has spent time in dogs kennels off and on since she was 3-4 months old. When I picked her up from boarding she was happy-go-lucky as usual, had no scratch or bite marks and no issues that I could tell.

My dog loves Dee's. We take her here when we go out of town and when it is time for her spa day. I love that they are very careful about shot records being up to date, including something called bortedella which I have no idea what that means but it's not good if your dog gets it. My friend at work takes her dog weekly and she loves it. We watch them on the website cam at work and they are always having a good time.
They are extremely attentive and seem genuine. Best groomer I've dealt with in a while.\r
I really like that I can leave my dog here and trust and know that my dog is taken care of. He always comes back well groomed and cleaned. This is definitely like a second home to him.
Great haircut & grooming. My dogs get so exited when they come to Dees.
Definitely one of the best places to leave your dog! They take such good care of each pup.
This is the 15th visit Wookie has had to Dee's Doggie Den and he seems very happy every time he leaves here. He is well groomed and looked after.
Loves daycare and the webcams are awesome!!!
Great place! Otis has a blast. .
I always get the luxury suite. It is wonderful that you provide this option. I have absolutely no complaints and I will keep bringing Lexie in!
This is a very honest, and clean place to bring your pet.I highly recommend it to anyone!
Carlton loves coming to Dee's. I love the friendly and helpful staff. Whether you are going to Dee's for day care/boarding or grooming, they will go above and beyond your expectations.
My dog always seems very happy every time I pick him up from here! I have used Dees for boarding and grooming and every time I have been pleased! They do a fantastic job with his grooming and he looks great afterwards! I highly recommend them!
Matty loves Dee's Day Care! Always very friendly to customers and pets alike. Love the web cams too, they give me a lot of peace of mind. Very good service!
The staff that work here are always so nice to me and Tilo and treat him like a king, which fits his personality! Nothing but good things to say about these guys.
Great place, Dodger loves it here! Staff is outstanding with the customers as well as the animals. Very trustworthy service.
Shadow loves coming to Dee's. He always pulls me in the door when he realizes where we are at! It's nice to see that kind of enthusiasm, because it tells me they are doing a great job at keeping him happy!
Great Staff. Good way to make sure the dog is well taken care of during the work day.
Zoe and Zachary get so excited when they come to Dees! They both always come home smelling and looking amazing after getting groomed.
Haddie loves coming to play and get pampered at Dee's and I always take her home happy. I will deferentially keep coming back!
The happiest place on earth for dogs! My dog gets excited just being in the parking lot and I just had to personally say thank you so much Dee.
Lexie knows when I say ""you're going to Dee's"" and she gets very excited. No complaints here, she always has her nails done nice & has a good bath.
My babysitter for my two dogs canceled the night before my flight!!! I was in a panic! My friend heard of Dee's Doggie Den, and refereed me to them. They were so understanding of my immediate need of pet sitting for the time i was going out of town. I took my pups there right before I headed to the airport, and was a little nervous of having my dogs taken care of by strangers. But when I picked them up they were out playing with the other dogs, and seemed happy as can be. I am so happy to have a place that will make sure my dogs are taken care of and looked after when needed.
I have a teacup yorkie, Winchester, who LOVES to go to doggie daycare at Dee's. We have been bringing him at least 2 to 3 times a week for almost a year and haven't had a single problem!!! I would recommend them to anyone! \r
\r
If your a big yorkie lover and owner, like myself, once a month Dee lets a group called Yorkie Play come in and use her play area for a fun afternoon of meet and greet with other yorkie owners while you little one (or ones) play the entire time!
Pros: Great location and wonderful employees
My dog, Lola, has been going to Dee's for over 2 years now and absolutely LOVES it! She comes home happy and worn out from all the playing she does through out the entire day. I would reccomend this establishment for anyone who is looking for a daycare/boarding/grooming facility for their dogs or even cats!
Pros: Excellent customer service, cleanliness, LARGE playareas!
Cons: Nothing
Our 7 month old puppy Marley truly lives up to his name. He's always jumping on the couch, opening drawers, chewing up shoes and shredding every piece of toilet paper around our house. My husband and I couldn't take it anymore! We decided to enroll him in doggie day care twice a week and we chose Dee's! I have been very pleased with them. They are attentive and really interact with Marley allowing him to be the playful little rascal he truly is! He's able to play with dogs his size and is supervised by multiple dog sitters. It's very clean and has two parts to the actual facility. One indoor play area and another outdoor play area that has swimming pools, tons of chewtoys and space for Marley to run around! Marley has made a lot of friends and gets super excited every time we pull up to Dee's.\r
\r
I trust that Dee's will take good care of him every time I drop him off.\r

THANK YOU DEE'S DOGGIE DEN! I have a happy puppy that's able to get all of his energy out during the day and sleep like an angel at night!
Pros: Great location in Lakewood!
I wish I had checked out Dee's Doggie Den before boarding my dog there. After 48 hours, my dog went into a coma and died. They promised care they didn't give. They didn't notify me there was a problem. My diabetic dog didn't have water in his cage and I don't believe he was fed. He started siezing and they didn't contact me. The emergency vet said there was no food in his intestines. I'm heart sick. I should have checked them out and I never would have left him there.
Cons: too many to mention
