I have been a regular customer of LHR. Last year, I performed an OBGYN check up as part of my annual woman procedures at Lenox Hill Radiology/LHR on June 24, 2014, covering mammogram, breast ultrasound, pap smear and relevant laboratory

I am a breast cancer survivor and I called for my yearly appointment and was given a same day appointment. I was worried that there would be a long wait and I would have to go some where else.

As usual the facility was great and I recommend to everyone.

Never forget - MAMMOGRAMS SAVE LIVES!

Forget the stupid press - The American Cancer Society recommends that every Woman over the age of 40 have a yearly Mammogram

Went to get a study done there today in the snow storm. I was worried the office might be closed so I called before and I spoke a really friendly receptionist who told me I could come anytime. I was greeted by an even friendlier front office. The technician took me right away and was also very cordial. Next time a need a procedure I will return.

Pros: Really Nice People - Efficient Office

After a doctors appointment for severe stomach pain and naussia I was sent by my doctor for a CT Scan. I was soo sick. My doctor told me to go the Private Radiology facility as they would take better and quicker care of me than a ER. They were so nice to me and and about 10 minutes after the exam they gave me my films and sent me via wheel chair to the emergency room. I was operated on for appendicitus later. I wish the people at the hospital were as efficient and nice as this private office.

I went today for an MRI. I am claustrophobic but the technologist made me feel very comfortable, talking to me every couple of minutes during the exam. I was also able to listen to Sirius radio which distracted me and was able to make it through the exam. Their MRI is also open and smaller. The scheduling and front desk people are also really nice. Everyone cares about the patients!

I have been going to this facility for years, even when a doctor suggest another place, and they never disappoint.

Pros: Well run office with really nice staff

I had a cough and went to doctor who sent over for an x-ray. The waiting room was busy but I was taken less than 10 minutes after my arrival. On my way home my doctors office called me to notify me that I should come back to their office to get antibiotics. The results were faxed to his office.

My experience was amazing and this office proves the private healthcare system works!

I went today for an ultrasound appointment (today - Saturday). I was worried that I was being sent to a hospital but was was very excited that it was a private office (between Park and Madison). The staff were fantastic and the facility was very clean and high tech. I was scheduled for a same day appointment. They took my insurance which not many doctors take. The technician made me feel very comfortable for an exam which is not normally comfortable. Will tell my doctor and friends and will go back for other studies (hopefully will not need any)

Sent over by doctor for a shoulder x-ray. Although the receptionist told me I might have to wait 30 minutes because I did not have appointment and the waiting room was busy I was taken in 10 minutes. The person performing the x-ray told me to wait for the doctor to check. The doctor checked and told me I needed a CT of the shoulder. I was a little annoyed thinking he was just trying to get me to do more exams but I had the CT after my doctor called my cell phone at the office (they must have spoked). The CT showed a severe fracture and I was operated next day by my orthopedist. Excellent service and they take by awful insurance!

I felt a hard spot in my breast, called my doctor and she examined me and sent me to Radiology center on Park Avenue. After a long wait for the report (3 weeks) it said to followup in 6 months. I went to another doctor because I did not feel comfortable and she referred me to Lenox Hill. I had the Mammogram and the tech told me the doctor wanted me to have a sonogram the next day. I was a little upset about waiting for the sonogram, but they did accommodate me the next day. I went back for the sonogram and the doctor told me I most likely had a very small cancer. She told me I needed a Breast MR. They also accommodated me next day, because of insurance. I had a Breast MRI and was diagnosed with Bilateral Breast Cancer. Thank god my doctor sent me to Lenox Hill as if i trusted the other place I would not have known I had cancer for at least 6 months.

Although the office is busy, the staff were very friendly and the doctor was very professional. They might have saved my life!

I waited for two hours for my ultrasound appointment and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she told me I didn't have to come back.
