Dr. Rozyczko (young personable guy who is a cat fanatic, also known there as Dr. R) and Dr. Smalle (older woman who is hand' down one of the most knowledgeable vets out there, who is the one I usually go to) are incredible. They're both extremely personable, knowledgeable and HONEST. It's also probably the most affordable vet in the Ann Arbor. I often compare prices and they do way better than the other local places. The only possible drawback is the location, depending on where you live. It's on a little farm like plot about 5 miles due north of the Kroger's on Plymouth Rd. I'd highly recommend them. I've been going there since about 1996 or so, and it's one of the best vets I've been my nearly 20 years of cat/dog ownership.

Brookeside is a full service animal hospital. They are prepared to take of most animal, from small to large. While they mostly do dogs and cats, they have treated birds and horses. They also do grooming on site and used to do boarding, not sure if they still do that.
Their prices are very reasonable, and the only drawback is that they are a little tricky to find the first time. Be sure to get directions.
