Price listed online $9,995 for a 2007 Honda Odyssey Megan Prinzi confirmed price on the phone. Even now the price is listed on cargurus.com and pappas toyota.com as $9,995. When we made appointment and went to the dealership. Megan still confirmed that on the computer yes the hona odyssey for $9,995 was still available in their inventory. So my husband test drove the vehicle while Megan began the paper work on our financing. When Megan brought out the paper work with the mounthly payment information my husband caught that the price on the contract was $11,999. When my husband asked about why the price went up Megan informed us it was because that was if you paid cash. My husband explained to Megan that the cash sale price was not indicated on their website or on car gurus website. Megan did not give us an answer. We weren't even informed over the many phone calls and emails we recieved. We wish we would of known this before we wasted our time on the 2 hour drive. I know 3 people right now looking to buy new/used cars. I will let them know to stay away from this dealership it is a waste of time and they are dishonest. Because of their dishonesty I am worried about all of our personal information we gave them like social security numbers ect.

We purchased a minivan from Pappa's Toyota in 2009 and they serviced the car since then. I was happy with their service until today's horrible experience with Gino the service advisor. I took the car for 45,000 maintenance that included 51-point inspection, oil change, and tire rotation. As Gino was filling out my service sheet, another Pappa's employee got in the office and informed me that my car's alignment was off. I was surprised to hear that due to: 1) I have not asked them to do alignment check 2) the minivan was still in the drop-off area. I simply asked Gino why they performed a service I have not asked for and his reply was "What is the big deal, the alignment check was complimentary". I then asked him if it was part of the 51-point inspection and he said yes. When I asked Gino to prove it by showing me the 51-point inspection list, he could not as I am pretty sure alignment check was not part of the list. I have two other cars and the dealerships never performed alignment check under multipoint inspection. Long story short, we both got upset and he first told me to leave his office and then when we were out of his office told me to leave the dealership in front of other customers and employees. Gino said they can refuse to provide service to anyone. I said that might be true under certain circumstances, but this is not one of them. I wanted to speak with the service manager, but he was not there so I ended up speaking with the parts manager first and after that the owner of the dealership. I informed both of them that the way Gino treated me was unacceptable and the owner assured me that he will have a talk with Gino. By the way, the parts manager showed me the machine located in the drop off area that checked my car's alignment. It looks pretty small and seems like it uses laser to check the alignment. I have no idea how the machine works, but based on the conversation with the manager, it does not sound very reliable as they double check the results with a conventional alignment unit when they take the car to the service area. It makes me wonder if they would let the customers know if the initial results were wrong or simply pretend like they fixed the alignment and charge for it. As a result of this unpleasant experience, I decided not to use Pappa's Toyota for my future car purchase/service. I am sure there are other Toyota dealers that will appreciate my business. Thanks for reading.

We have purchased about 10 Toyota's from Pappas over a 20 year
period. The last ones we have added gap insurance per their advise.
We did not use it until recently. My son was in a accident which totalled the vehicle. Statefarm paid most of the vehicle. So we contacted Gap Insurance. We did not have a copy of the contract. I called and got that and provided all the necessary documents.
Then we received a letter stating they would not pay the difference.
It was due a stipulation in the contract, which we did not have a copy. They stated if alchol was mentioned, even though no one was charged, they would not pay. So we were left in the hole. I contacted Pappas to see what they could do, since we were a good customer and had not used it before.
I called repeatedly, sent letters, and they did not call back unless I
called them. They said we were out of luck, if they did it for one they would have to do it for others.
I contacted the owner. He said since no one was killed or maimed in the accident, make our son pay it. Treat him like a 15 year old and ride a bike going forward.
Toyota Financial who wanted the money stated they have seen Toyota dealers pay the difference. The owner called them and they stated that to him. Tom Pappas said we were out of luck.
Apparently they are not concerned about customer service, and have lost a loyal customer, over 700 dollars. When we have spent at least 200,000 or more there.

Worst dealership I've ever been to. Found a van they had listed on line. Called Tony G to work out a price over the phone since I live 100 miles away. We agreed on a price and he assured me it was a done deal since I told him I didn't want to drive all that way for nothing. Took off work early drove down and he raised the price 1000.00 And the van was in no condition to drive with the windshield shattered. Hail damage which they failed to list on line. Needless to say didn't buy van and will never buy anything from Tom Pappas Toyota. Wish I could give less than 1 star.

I've had great service through this dealer. Bought 2 cars at the same time. They beat everyone else in the area and were super friendly. They treated me like family. They post their customer satisfaction scores out where everyone can see

DISHONEST, MISREPRESENTATION and attempting to take advantage of me! WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD! I drove out to Pappas Toyota after contacting them first by telephone during which they confirmed their advertising that they were offering "several thousand, up to $6000 over blue book value for ANY trade-in" including a "clunker". Blue book value on my vehicle is $8000 -- they offered $4800 and tried to tell me they thought my vehicle might have a "tranny problem in the future" and there is a problem with the "ball bearings". Either they are complete crooks or even worse they felt they could take advantage of a 70 year old little white haired lady!

wife took 2007 camry in for safety recall, they went ahead and did a free courtesy check up...after several hours we recieved a call that the brake pads were shot and as a result the rotors needed replaced, in addition the transmission fluid was black and in need of a complete flush and refill..mind you our 2007 camry had 37,ooo miles and my wifes brother is a mechanic who just a week ago changed our brakes and turned our rotors..I advised my wife not to do anything and we took car to our brothers and he looked at the fluid and compared it to brand new tranny fluid and guess what ...the exact same color...also the brakes looked perfect upon my visual inspection...I personally called to explain my concerns with the service manager and have yet a monthe later to hear from him.her...I would say thiswomen be ware they appear to take advantage of people ...especially women..we will never ruturn

I am a 51 year old man. Have taken a few test drives in my time, and have never had an experience like the one Tom Pappas Toyota gave me. I took a 2010 Yaris for a test drive...RAN OUT OF GAS, oh did I mention that it only had 20 miles on the car and the car gets 35 miles to the gallon? Who do we point a finger at here? The FACTORY for scrimping on gas, or the DEALER for not having the insight to check the gas before having a customer take one of their cars out. While I recieved no appologies from the manager on duty, I got to sit on the side of the road in this new car for 45 minutes. Thanks for nothing. KIND OF PUTS A BAD TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH FOR A TOYOTA DOESN'T IT!
