My cat had a cyst removed from his ear. It cost me 240 dollars. I had just moved to La Crosse from the country, and was shocked at how expensive vets in the city are. The office visits are a flat 50 bucks just to be seen. His cyst has since grown back and I cant afford it again, and I can't get a refill of his meds unless I bring him in to be seen. The staff was very competent and friendly, and even called me at home a week later to check on how he was doing. Unfortunately I can't afford them!

La Crosse Vet has been nothing but friendly towards me and my cats. They have always answered any questions I've had about my cats and there health. Whenever I have a question I pick up the phone and give em a call. The vet office is easly for find off of Hwy 16. They offer weekend appointments. The staff is very friendly.

I talk my dog to this veterinary clinic. A friend of my fathers use to work there. I feel my dog gets the best of care when she needs to be seen. The staff remembers us, and always asks how Cleo is doing.

LaCrosse Veterinary Clinic is a wonderful place to take your pets. New clients are always welcome. The staff is helpful and friendly and always available to answer your questions. They do small and large animal care. They offer complete dental care. They also do laser surgery. Acupuncture is also available. The vets are very caring for the pets.

We have sereral pets including dogs and cats. All live well together but once in a while we have a medical problem. When we were new to the area we had a cat that was way too skinny and was losing some hair patches. We broght her into La Crosse Veterinary Clinic (along the bluffs on Lousey Blvd). Her ribs were sticking out and you could see her hip bones move as she walked.

An upper middle aged man examened the cat and drew blood. He came back in to say the routine blood work looked fine and he thought the cat was a LITTLE thin but not to worry. He suggested MAYBE she had an allergy and sent us on our way.

I researched this and found out more and more about pet food. I then searched the different brands of food and their analysis and ingredients. I changed the cats food over time. She gained weight and the fur grew back in... it took over a year though for her to actually look healthy again.

I wish the doctor had taken more time (than money) with us.

PROS: none
CONS: not enough care
