if it would let me i would give this dr zero stars. when i took my sick cat in last friday who hadnt been eating or drinking on his own and had fever he barely examined him and gave him antibiotics that ended up putting him on deaths door by giving him bloody diarrhea and he gave these to him without running a single test or really attempting to find out what was really wrong with him. it was very clear that he was not even slightly interested in helping my animal and it seemed like he couldnt get out of the exam room fast enough. to top it off when i called yesterday about his diarrhea i was told by his partner dr blick to give my cat pepto bismol which i found out is fatal to cats. they never gave any such warning and all i was told was to give him a half of a tablespoon as needed. if i would have given him any more than i did it would have killed him. i ended up taking him to heritage animal hospital which i HIGHLY recommend. they ran every test on him and found that his gi tract was incredibly inflamed and he had a severe electrolyte disturbance from the diarrhea. they put him on iv fluids and he is already drinking water on his own again and its only been 12 hours. had i not taken him in today when i did he would not have made it through the day more than likely. bottom line DO NOT put your sick pets life in these peoples hands. all they care about is your money.
It is with a very heavy heart that I am compelled to write this review. Having been with Colleyville Animal Clinic for the past 28 years, it is hard not to think of the staff as friends versus a service provider. We have been with Dr. Blick and Dr. Wilson and the entire staff through the life and death of our beloved lab Grettle as well as the life and death of our beloved Tiffany. The compassion and caring we received from the entire staff through these two dogs' lives is remarkable. When we had to put each one to sleep, there could not have been a better place to help relieve some of the suffering we went through. We have had our two dachsunds, Oscar and Oliver, with Colleyville for the past 12 years. When we almost lost Oliver, we could not have asked for more professional, courteous, and loving care than what our dog as well as us received. We have made the ""trek"" of 42 miles round trip for the past 8 years to get Oliver's monthly shot and do not regret a moment of it. However, after 28 years, due to economic conditions, we are forced to seek a closer clinic for the care of our beloved dogs. We can never begin to express our thanks for the years of excellent service we have received. We HIGHLY recommend Colleyville Animal Clinic for the love and compassion shown to your pet as well as to you the owner.\r

We have been very happy with the services we received at this clinic. From the time you call for your first appointment to the time you leave the exam room the entire staff has an attitude of genuine interest and concern for the wellbeing of your pet. We had to have our Golden Retriever put to sleep and it was an extremely hard time for our family. The compassion and tenderness we were shown made a rough time easier to handle. If you want a place that takes a personal interest in your pet, from beginning to end, go to this clinic.
