Hi. I'm a HUGE fan of this gym. I'm a student, and although I must combat my osteoporosis by going to the gym three times a week, I do not value going to the gym enough to pay fifty-eighty dollars a month. At the Tony Dapolito (Carmine Recreation) Center, I pay $6.25 a month (if you divide the annual fee).
For $75 a YEAR you have access to:
a track
three or more basketball courts
all kinds of cardio machines, several of each
two weight rooms (one for free weights, one for weight machines)
TWO swimming pools (one outdoor, one indoor)
a beautiful winding stairwell
a ramp and elevators (handicap access available)
locker rooms: an abundance of lockers (you must provide your own key lock (no combination locks), showers
classes such as yoga
after school program
The only complaint I have is that the top floor (devoted to the after school program and Ishtanga Yoga classes) has insects.
I still highly recommend this place for people who value the American dollar.

Pros: Incredible deal. Wide variety of recreational options.
Cons: Insects on fifth floor.
