Went for lunch two days in a row. For $9.95, they have a deal for a calzone, a salad, and a soda. Ingredients are at a higher standard than most Italian joints of this size. The calzone was terrific! Had it two days in a row. The kid at the counter recognized me the second time and welcomed me back. I felt valued and left full...what else can you ask for?

Pros: Delicious food, friendly service

Cons: Parking can be a mess during rushes

I have gone to this place about 3 times. Each time I have had awesome pizza but have always had a problem getting good customer service. Some of the menu items do not say that they contain certain things and if you try to ask for help in getting a replacement, they want to charge you. It is unfortunate that this pizzaria has such bad customer service... it ruins the whole experience. I can go everywhere for bad service and I can go to many pizza places and get a slice or two of decent pizza... However Good pizza with deplorable service is not a sign of overall quality in my eyes.

On a good note.... They do deliver and the delivery guys are happy and courteous.

I give one star because of the extreme lack of consideration to the customer.

Sorry guys.... but I will not go back for several years in hopes that the staff has either retired and there are new ones or they have had enough people who have gotten tired of the bad service that they will make adjustments.

I've been dying to try this place and finally got a chance to today. I walked in around 11:45am and asked if they had pizza by the slice. They said yes, but that they weren't open yet - come back at noon. So I walked around the strip mall a little and came back at noon. After ignoring me at the counter and conversing amongst themselves for a few minutes they finally saw fit to tell me that they were right about to put a pizza in. I was amazed: there's not one in yet? No, it would be another 15 minutes. I told them thanks, but no thanks. C'mon people, you're in the hospitality business - quit jerking people around. There are a lot of food choices here in LA. North End Pizzeria won't get a second chance.

Cons: They don't seem to want to sell you pizza

Try their jalepeno and pineapple pizza...mmmmm!!!!! My husband had fresh garlic put on his, which was really great at the time, but after dinner, the smell and taste in his mouth became too overwhelming. So if you get the garlic, have them put a small amount!

Pros: Pizza! Salad!

Cons: Garlic Bread with Cheese...has no garlic!

Great local pizza delivery! They also have a small dining room for eating in. Their pizza in thin crust and very good, their meatballs are great and so is their eggplant parm. I don't love their pastas but you can't go wrong with the pizza or the sandwiches! If you like think crust you will love North End! I love their sauce so I always get an extra side to dip! Oh and their caesar is really good, it's the first salad my picky 3 year old would eat!

We've been ordering from North End for over a year now, and I've always raved about how great it is. Lately, though, it's really been going downhill. Delivery is slow, and considering we don't live far from the location, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a hot pizza every once in awhile. It also seems like everytime we order anything extra (a salad or soda), the deliveryman forgets and has to be prompted to go back and get it. I'm not sure if they're under new management or short on staff, but I yearn for the days of a GOOD North End.

As a recently transplanted New Yorker, all I heard about LA is that I won't find good pizza. WRONG! I love the pizza at North End -- it reminds me of home. We always order a thin and crispy pizza and it always comes just that way!

Great Pizza and Salads. It is a bring your own beer and wine place....they have decent outdoor seating. It's a little cramped inside. Delivery guiys are generally friendly and prompt. Overall a very good experience. Get garlic as a topping on the Pizza...soooooo good!

Mmmmm, I'm so excited there's one in Burbank too! Reminded me of pizza I would find in Boston's North End. Thin crust that was just crispy enough and chewy enough with a sauce that makes my mouth water. We ate in and brought it home and each time it was great! Check it out.

Very pleased with this pizza, not the best I've ever had, but one of the best I've tried in LA thus far. We had this delivered, so it was not exactly piping hot but still warm enough. Employees very friendly. Pizza sauce is slightly tangy, and they put just the right amount of herbs and seasonings on the pizza. Crust not to thick, not too thin, though it is more on the thin side. I would order this pizza again.

Simple reason to run to this pizza: Side by with Mulberry Street, this is about the only truly authentic New York Old School Style pizza you can get in Los Angeles. The beechin thin crust type you can fold over ( which is done to keep from burning your mouth if the topping is still real hot ). Where it pulls ahead of Mulberry in terms of LA's BEST PIZZA, is its superior sauce and toppings. Why are they better? I dunno, but they are simply much more flavorful. Enjoy.
