It has been a number of years now, but my appt with Dr. Hudson was the single worst medical appt I had in my life. She actually took a personal call in the middle of my appt, to discuss at length, work she was having done on her house. It

Naturopathic Doctor Tori Hudson started this clinic which is specifically for women utilizing integrative medicine for hormone balancing, primary care, acupuncture and Chinese medicine. They have a natural pharmacy and carry Vitanica supplements.

Wow, what a great expereince......I was searching for quality doctors that CARE. I found them and more at A Woman's Time. The staff was great........constantly took care of my thousand questions and was willing to work with my insurance company. My insurance company told me i was not covered for care by a Naturopthic doctor and turns out i was. What a great eye to detail the staff had.. Their willingness and the time and care the doctor gave me was so wonderul. The new discount program rocks.......I am so thrilled to have a place that i can ask qeustions and get answers. Keep up the good work.

PS i just saw the reviews posted here that were somewhat negative and was shocked. I am not sure that could have even happened.......whatever, it wasn't my experience......I agree with the other woman who said she was well taken care of........

Cons: can't think of any.......if i had any i believe they would listen and take care of it

Good: The NDs will sit down with you and comprehensively discuss your medical issues and concerns. They can collect blo od for lab tests and look at all possible causes of symptoms and issues, rather than going for the "quick-fix."

Bad: The office is pretty ratty, reminding me of my first college apartment. The upstairs of the old house smelled like cat urine (I sure hope that's not what it was). The bottle of natural stress-reducing supplements was nearly $50 (hard to swallow). And I agree with the other commenter - the office staff is EXTREMELY unprofessional. They behaved like a bunch of high school girls in a locker room. I was pretty shocked, and embarrassed for them.

The office staff could have and should have informed me that my doctor was running late. But they didn't. I was in that waiting room for a good half hour before the doctor came to get me, and I wasn't the only one twiddling my thumbs. There were others waiting at least as long as I, and the office staff acted like we weren't even there. Except at one point, two of them were giggling and whispering to each other and pointing at me. When I met their gaze, they burst into laughter. However, they did not share the "joke." My doctor was great, but hell if I'm going back. Any place that makes fun of their patients, at their expense, is no place I'm spending my money.

In my search for healthcare practitioners who pay attention to me (and not the clock), I accidentally found A Woman's Time Clinic and need look no further. A Woman's Time Clinic saved my life - literally! Other naturopathic physicians are good, but AWTC is GREAT! The doctors at AWTC are skilled, experienced, compassionate and responsive. They pay close attention to my physical, intellectual, emotional and financial circumstances and respond accordingly. AWTC support staff are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. A handful of friends (including men) have, upon my referral, consulted with Dr. Barbara MacDonald at AWTC and were simply amazed at the amount of one-on-one time to fully address their very unique issues and find resolution to their problems, sometimes with only one visit. Where else can men and women, in search of healing at the very core, find such comprehensive health care? Very few places in my own experience.

How did AWTC save my life? By giving me the time, compassion, information and education I needed to address a life threatening health issue. I now have the tools I need to make informed and educated decisions about my healthcare from a multi-disciplinary approach that is giving me the quality of life that I desire.

AWTC is a wealth of information, education and action. I highly recommend the clinic as a whole for both men and women.
