Great shop, really had me going with their breads and remarkable shortcakes. They have so many variety and they also have marvelous donuts in here.

Thanks to Citysearch, found this wonderful dim sum place. Really like Yank Sing, but it's just way too expensive. Wanted to find an alternative that would still leave enough change in your pocket for the bus/subway ride home!

Pork and chicken buns were outstanding, really generous portions on the stuffing. Siew mai (sorry for spelling), shrimp, were excellent. Wish they had more veggie options. The leek or chive dish was ok, though wouldn't order it again.

Suggest to order your takeout and then bring it to Golden Gate Park (appropriately near the Chinese Pagoda) and enjoy it in the open air!

Pros: Love the pork & chicken buns

Cons: Limited seating, more for takeout

Excellent price. My next trip to San Francisco will include a trip back to eat there again. Excellent food. Parking was not a problem and I visited on a Saturday around noon. Highly recommend you visit this bakery. Fresh, delicious food!

Clement Street is fortunate to have both Wing Lee and Good Luck Dim Sum within blocks of each other. Both are popular but the prices at Good Luck are lower. I like the pork/egg jook and egg rolls better here. The servers here are very friendly ladies. Depending on which block I'm ambling down Clement, I willingly stop at either for good dim sum to go. Wing Lee also has a nice selection of baked goods - bacon/onion buns, cocktail buns, BBQ pork buns.

Forget Ton Kiang! Forget that other place in the embarcadero!
This is take home dim sum at its best. 3 pcs for 1.20? can't beat that! Selection is at its best before noon, so try to make it before then. Chive dumplings, potstickers, shumai, ha gao, it's all the best on the street. I like the Good Luck too, but my favorite has got to be the Wing Lee Bakery!
