Had them over to do a simple sprinkler blowout for the winter. They promise a full system inspection (lines and filters) as part of their basic service. After completing the blowout I asked the worker (Gary) to confirm that he had done the inspection, he said he did, checked it off on the form, but when I asked him to show me the areas he inspected, it turned out he had not actually inspected or even removed the filter and it had a hole in it. He could not explain why he had not removed or inspected the filter.

While blowing out one of the lines he said something about it "not working right" and continued on the rest of the lines. I asked him if the original line had been blown out and he said it had been, but AFAIK it may not have been. Having had the issue where he said he'd done the inspection but actually hadn't, I can't trust the lines were blown out correctly.

I reported the issue to the company via phone message, and was hoping they would send someone else out to check the work and ensure it was blown out correctly, but instead I promptly received a letter blaming me for the problems, blaming me for the filter (what?) and returning my check and promising never to do business with me again.

How a failure on their part to provide the service they promise on their flyer came to be my fault, I'll never know.

Just proves that you can rarely trust fly by night companies who leave flyers on your door and then do a quick job without the quality they advertise.
