Worst experience. I told the lady on the phone we had a big house with heavy furniture, so we added another guy(3), They were 4 hours late with really no explanation. They all 3 had bad attitudes and looked like boys and couldn't lift much. It took them forever and still didn't get finished. Broke a granite base to my dining room table and chipped another granite edge off of my buffet. Gouged another piece of furniture. We spoke w/Justin and he kept saying he would come out, after leaving several messages, we called and spoke w/Jesse out of their LA office and he said he would get w/Justin.
Unbelievable, after spending $1200 for this and still we had furniture to move and damage that they just don't care. I believe companies that treat people like this, get what's coming to them. J. Lee

He gave me a great quote, made all kinds of assurances and sounded like a nice guy. Until he got my money. Then the truck showed up 4 hours late, charged me THREE TIMES what he had quoted me, but I had to use them because I had no time to find a different means of transport. They showed up, kept a couple of things, and now won't answer my calls.
Don't give this company your money. Any positive reviews are posted by them. I wish I had investigated them more before I hired them.

In addition, they didn't do anything for about 30 minutes and still wanted to charge me for the time. On top of that, they expected me to pay before they finished the job. I will never use Starving Students again.

Great Job and Worry free! We moved across the state and everything got there right on time and everything went super smooth! And they were very affordable too.
