this was my first time ever to get a brazilian...and i went with one of my best friends and of course i allowed her to go first :) because i was too scared...but as i sat there and waited all i could hear was my friend laughing..and i thought to myself wait i thought this was supposed hurt! and then it was my turn...and carolina was so wonderful she could tell how nervous i was and she just takes your mind off the entire situation and i found myself laughing and talking with her! i just booked my next appointment and i definitely tell all my friends about her! this is a great place especially for those who are as nervous as i was!

Okay, so I must admit to being a little reluctant to get a Brazilian wax but everything I have read about the pros of having it done made me want to try it. After much research on where to go, I decided on Renude and Carolina. From the time you walk in the door of the quaint little place, she immediately puts you at ease.

I will say that the pain is intense but not too overwhelming. As I told her, it isn't the most pain I've ever been in, but it is sharp and I am glad there was no one around to hear me yelp a couple of times. Thankfully, though, it is also very short, lasting only a few seconds per pull. The overall procedure took roughly a half hour and I absolutely LOVE the way it feels.

Carolina makes you so comfortable by chatting the whole time. Great job of waxing, pretty painless. The place is cute and comfy and she is available when you need her. Would be a good 1st experience for waxing.

this girl does the best job, i travel nation wide all the time but i wait till i am home in houston , and i drive an hour thru traffic just to get my waxing needs met by RENUDE,
She is professional, very skilled, and personable. i wont get waxed anywhere else. She has great prices and a cozy feel to her place of business. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!

I have been to numerous places for waxing treatments and found Renude via the web so I thought I would give it a try. I was extremely impressed and I will not be going anywhere else from now on.

From the outside, the establishment looks like nothing special - you certainly have to look for it. However, do not let any of this deter you because inside, it is totally different. The walls are light blue, which are very peaceful and calming. The rooms are absolutely spotless and very "homey".

Carolina makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. She is very conscious that her clients may be nervous or feel uncomfortable. She provides gowns for women to add an extra level of "privacy". Her attention to detail and explanation of every step is what sets her apart from the rest.

It is also very affordable. I highly recommend Carolina and her services.

I've had three Brazilian wax experiences before and they were all awful. I was sure I would never do it again, but I met Carolina and she convinced me to give it another try.
She is extremely professional, her place is impeccably clean, she makes you feel very comfortable and it's very detailed in her work. I couldn't believe how pleasantly different it was compared to my LA and Las Vegas experiences. I will never go anywhere else, I will continue to see Carolina at Renude and recommend her as the ONLY place to go!

This is truly a rare find?a hidden gem that only the selected should deserve this exceptional experience!! Great location? ample parking?relaxing atmosphere from your first step in the door!! When you walk in you really feel like you are in an ultra clean and chic ?at home? atmosphere.

Carolina is so pleasant and truly makes you feel like you have known her for years. She really wants your visit to be an opportunity for you to relax?enjoy the music?enjoy the wine and let her do what she does best. Her attention to detail and explanation of every step is exceptionally professional. She is extremely knowledgeable about her profession and really went beyond the call of duty in answering the questions that I had prior to my 1st time appointment @ Renude. Honestly I will never go anywhere else!!

For you first timers I admit that I too wondered how I can let someone do this to me?what about the pain and letting someone really SEE me! But her professionalism is beyond imaginable. Carolina delivers a quick and virtually pain-free wax with a touch that is not embarrassing or dreading at all. I truly felt so very comfortable and relaxed.

The results were AWESOME!! I will never go back to plucking or shaving again! I know that I actually look forward to my next appointment because the entire process was pleasant and relaxing and SUPER SMOOTH!!!

My best friend and I had our first brazilian wax at Renude last week, Carolina is very professional, she did everything on her power to make us feel comfortable. I found myself in a relaxing and clean environment, her place is sooo cute that we felt at home right away! In the beginning I was extremely nervous, because I heard of how bad the experience could be, but at the end it was totally worth it. I highly recommend this place to all the women looking for a profesional, clean, and friendly place to get waxed.I will definitely go back!!=)

Carolina did my first wax and I was so nervous. She helped calm me down and even let me take a few breaks. She was very professional and extremely helpful. I'm hooked and will definitely be seeing her every 5-6 weeks!

This was my first time getting a brazilian wax and I was pretty nervous when I went in but Carolina made me feel completely safe. It was a clean environment, sanitary and nicely decorated. The actual procedure was unpleasant but Carolina does a good job at distracting you. Overall, it was a really comfortable experience. I will be going back and referring Renude to all my girlfriends.

Carolina at Redude is amazing. I have never had a Brazilian wax before so I was pretty nervous going in, but she put me right at ease. I was distracted enough by the conversation that I didn't even have time to think about what was going on "down there." Last month I visited Renude Brazilian Wax & Skin Care for a Brazilian wax. This was my first time getting a Brazilian wax so I was very nervous. Normally, I freak out at the thought of people seeing "my stuff". But I'm so glad I got it done with Carolina. Carolina was totally cool and made me feel absolutely comfortable. Of course, the first time really hurt but It definitely wasn't as bad as I expected. She did a very detailed job. She also made time to wax my legs which was really fast and easy. I was really impressed with the results! I will definitely be back soon!! Thanks Carolina!

I have been trying to find a decent way to remove hair that lasts for quite some time. I've bought just about everything you can and spent lots of time tweezing, ripping, & shaving. The pain that I had heard about as far as Brazilian waxing isn't what I experienced. It wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't that bad. Carolina made me feel very comfortable and I'll be visiting her as often as necessary from now on. I am so glad I went and the results are pretty fantastic!

When I went for my Brazilian Wax it was my very first time and I must say it definitely will not be my last time. Carolina is totally awesome!!! She talks to you and makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Might I add I was SUPER SCARED when I first came in for my appointment. She was very attentive to every little detail while she was waxing me, and you can definitely tell that she takes great pride in her work. I loved the atmosphere as well as the ambiance of the facility, and I was very very pleased with the results when everything was completed. The waxing procedure was also not as painful as I thought it would be, needless to say I can't wait to go back again. She definitley has a long term customer in me.

From the time you walk in you feel like you are about to receive top quality service. The ambiance is so clean, chic and relaxing! You can tell that Renude is a place that makes cleanliness a top priority. Not only does Carolina welcome you with a warm greeting but she is so attentive to making sure that you are comfortable and that your needs are taken care off right away. Carolina has taken the best of the large spa amenities and offered these in a more intimate boutique setting. Now regarding my actual service experience, the utmost best ?close to painless? Brazilian I have gotten. I have been to several top spas in Houston and I can?t say any of them have offered the service that Carolina did. There was no double dipping, which you can?t say this is the case for even the most luxury spas. Lastly, she is so attentive to your pain tolerance and will take her time to ensure you have the least pain possible throughout the experience. I will make Renude my new waxing spa and I can actually say I look forward to coming back!!!

Carolina is fantastic! This was my first time going to her and I have gotten plenty of Brazilians. She does an absolutely fabulous job and really does pay attention to what she is doing and what YOU want as a customer. I was comfortable in an instant and it was never awkward. She definetly knows what she is doing and is a professional. The place is very comfortable and makes you feel as if everything is focused on what you want. Very detail oriented on what the customer wants and that is what I call great service! Even to the smallest hairs! I really highly recommend Renude. She understands the technical details of waxing and the biological aspect of your hair growth and what needs to be done. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I will certainly be a regular here.

I got my first brazilian here and Carolina was wonderful!! I told her I was nervous about it and she took her time and went slowely and it did not hurt as bad as I thought! I'm ready to keep this up...we were even 30 minutes late to our appointment and she was very patient and nice to us! I would highly recommend her!

I began patronizing Renude shortly after it opened, for both waxing and facial treatments.

As a dedicated spa enthusiast, I feel I can say that Carolina at Renude deserves credit for establishing not only a level of customer service unequalled by the larger facilities in Houston, but also for providing a creative and energizing menu of offerings for mind and body!

Waxing is never a pleasant experience, but Carolina's delightful personality and demeanor, not to mention skill, make you forget this is something you'd rather not do on a regular basis. Seriously, I've experienced the worst kind of third world torture when getting waxed from so called "professionals" who have actually peeled skin. Carolina has just the right touch. Never do you feel she's going for some kind of speed record - she always takes her time with her clients.

Do yourself a favor and visit this charming establishment and give yourself over to Carolina. It will make your day!

Carolina is hands down or up the BEST waxing person out there!!! She has a great touch she makes you feel VERY comfortable and relaxed! She is very professional and nothing bothers her you can be yourself when she waxes you! It's just a very great relaxing and enjoyable experience when you are on her table, and in her place or work! I can't stress it enough she is VERY PROFESSIONAL!!! Any woman or man would feel good getting any kind of work done on there body with Carolina she is the BEST! First off I must say that Carolina's studio is located in a great area. Everything from parking, to actually finding the place was very easy and convenient. I am writing this review after had having my first Brazilian wax done and I must say it was a GOOD experience. Personally I was not nervous at all, Carolina makes you feel very comfortable. If you are thinking about getting a Brazilian or any kind of waxing and skincare done Carolina is your esthetician. I will be making my next appt. asap. and recommending all of my friends.

I've been to all sorts of wax places, other brazilian wax places, sugaring places, and can say that Carolina is the best by far. Most people don't want to go to a bunch of different places to get this done- it's embarrassing enough as it is, so you try to find one person and stick with them. Carolina should be "your person." She does a detailed job, uses clean and great products and makes the experience as comfortable and smooth as possible. I've recommended her to friends and they all absolutely love her too. If you want to try a brazilian wax but are hesitant, definitely call Renude!

I've followed Carolina to a couple different salons and am relieved that she has finally found her own permanent, stylish home! I'm just a city guy who likes his face (particularly his nostrils) to be free of unwanted hair. I've even had her do my chest once. Carolina always takes the time to make sure the hairs I want gone are gone and that the ones still there look nice and balanced. It's easy to get an appointment, and the location couldn't be more convenient. So run--don't walk--to Carolina and Renude!

I have been going to Carolina for about a year now, and I knew when she opened her own studio it would be classy, professional and comfortable. And it is. The studio is in a location close to everything, it is decorated
She has such a great way of making you feel relaxed in a situation where you might otherwise be nervous or embarassed, and the hours are flexibile!

I went to Renude in July '08 as a "first-timer" expecting the worst but left a believer. There's no way you could ever go back to shaving after seeing these results. The first time of course is painful (I recommend taking Advil before you go), and you may be a little sore afterwards, but I have been back twice since then and felt very little pain during the sessions and left feeling no pain at all. The studio is small and cozy with a great atmosphere and even offers wine to relax. Carolina will make you feel right at home and seems to really know what she is doing. Carolina came very highly reccommended to me by a friend, and I would absolutely reccommend her to my friends.
