I have been taking my cars to Ashburn Service and Tire Center for the past 2 years and have never once had a bad experience there. The manager up front always make you feel comfortable and welcomed and treat everyone who walks through the door like a friend. I have received honest reports on my vehicle's condition and when work wasn't needed, I was told that as well. Everything was done in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. I have never felt more at ease in an automotive shop than I have there, being a woman it is hard to say that, but I can truly affirm I love that place!

I went there for a Virginia State Inspection, the guy failed my exhaust for a hole in the muffler. I took it to another shop and they said it had no hole and they passed the car. I called the State Police to report that Inspector. The whole place gives me the impression they want my money without caring about my needs. Too slick for me and my BMW. I would stay away from this place, just a warning.

I took my car in for an inspection and the mechanic told me the breaks needed to be replaced. However, when I made the service manager, some clown named Art, take me back to llok at their measurement on the break pads, they clearly dod not need to be replaced. Basically, they lied to me. I'm never going back there again and would advise against anyoneelse going. These people are rip offs

My wife and I have taken our cars to Ashburn Service & Tire Center since 2003. The staff and technicians are very friendly, helpful, and most importantly honest. We've found it's pretty hard to find honest Auto Technicians in NoVA. We have taken our cars to Ashburn Service & Tire Center probably 20-30 times over the past 5+ years and have saved thousands of dollars over the years. The dealership or other Auto Shop will insist we need certain work done, we then take our cars to Ashburn Service & Tire Center for a second opinion, they tell us what work really needs to be done, and we usually save over $1-2K on major work. We refer all our friends to Ashburn Service & Tire Center.

I brought my car with an oil leak into these guys and they charged $1400 to fix it. Fair enough. A year later when the oil leak reoccurred I took it to the dealer for a second opinion. The dealer found that the mechanic ruined the engine by cracking the engine block. I informed Ashburn Service Center of the damage and they tried to claim that either the engine block was already cracked or Honda broke it! They refused to pay for their mistake, which was clearly identified by Honda. So I'm taking them to court. I was a five year customer but apparently they believe I'll just go away. The service manager Art Carvajal lied to me and basically said "too bad". Don't go to this place, they are dishonest and not competent to work on engines.

I gave this shop 3 strikes before making my decision to not return. I can handle mistakes like standard oil changes when I paid for synthetic but not refilling key fluid levels like power steering fluid l& it leading to minor damage was the last straw. Be sure to probe into your receipt to ensure the work they say was done, was actually done. Sadly, I will not be giving any more dollars to Ashburn Tire & Service or its sister station in Herndon.
PROS: super friendly staff - competitive rates - drop off / pick up service

A few weeks ago, my husband went to use my car and saw that the front tire was flat. He headed over to Ashburn Service & Tire Center. The car was promptly looked at, and found that a screw was in the tire. The hole was plugged and the tire inflated all in a matter of minutes. My husband was not charged anything for this, and my tire has not deflated since. How many places, nowadays, just do stuff like that for free? Not many. Ashburn Service & Tire, knows the meaning of good customer service and has made a repeat customer out of me.
