Beryl Automotive and Collision

I took my car to beryl auto and collision , for their special paint job price , I guess you get what you pay for , the paint is peeling off , the color didnt match , clips and screws missing . the car was filthy after they were done with it ... looks worst than before .

Beryl auto and collision , is a place where you dont want to take your car , the shop is filthy and messy , so expect your car to be the same, lack of professionalism, they are not certified... if you love your car , look for another option.

I am upset with them for many reasons. First, if the job was not a 2-day job, then they should not have lied and repeatedly promised me. Second, the parts needed were clearly listed in the written estimate, but they had the wrong parts and delayed the repair work even further. Third, there was lack of communication everywhere. I was not informed of the vehicle's progress on Tuesday (the originally promised date) or Wednesday until I had to call them repeatedly. I was not told about the incorrect parts until Thursday when my car was supposed to be repaired. The technician blamed the person who wrote the estimate for not pointing out all the places that needed work, so my car was not completely fixed. Fourth, the written estimate included all the repairs, but not all of them were done the first time. However, I was charged the full amount on Friday when I picked up the car. How could the body shop charge me the exact amount listed on the written estimate when less work was performed? I suspect that they over-charge the customers on a regular basis. Fifth, the technician simply did not pay attention. The places needing repairs were visually obvious. Even if the person who did the estimate did not tell the technician where the damages were, he could have seen them with his own eyes if he had just looked. I find it hard to believe that he would fix the damages that were merely a couple of inches away and not fix these ones that he missed. Finally, the attitude of the clerk was not pleasant at all. I felt that she was treating me like I was a trouble-maker. When in fact, the faults were at their body shop.

I had a minor fender bender on my car and was directed to Beryl Road. I found their quote to be very reasonable. I guess you get what you pay for though. The work needs to be redone.....the paint doesn't match and only a short time later some of the parts that were replace on the car are falling off. I had several issues with this company through the entire process. Their lack of professionalism and skill guarantees that I will never take another one of my cars to them or recommend them to anyone. In fact, any time someone needs body work I mention them as a place to NOT go. I hope this company becomes a victim of the economy and shuts down.

These guys are great! I found them via CitySearch last year, and now they're the first guys I go to when my car is unwell. Their prices are reasonable, their service is excellent, and they give you as many options as they can, no pressure.

My Focus is having more problems with its alternator. The guy at Beryl was getting ready to rebuild the thing when I told him I just had it replaced last year. He asked who did the repair, and when I said /they/ did, with a part I bought from AdvanceAutoParts, he immediately said "Oh! You're probably covered under a lifetime warranty!" and promised to call AAP and find out. He could very easily have charged me for a replacement, and I would never have known I'd had an alternative.

An honest mechanic! Imagine that!

Pros: Fair pricing, friendly and knowledgeable staff, quick turnaround

Cons: Not open on Sundays, which is a problem when you work full-time; hard to find the first time

I took my car here base on the recommendation of this website and I have to say I couldn't be happier. my 95 Honda Accord's front end was smashed but they got the job done a day earlier than they had estimated and the paint matched perfect. I highly recommend them.

My experience with Beryl Road Automotive & Collision was very pleasant. They delivered as promised. Cherly manages the business in a very professional manner and its all done with a smile. She worked with me and was willing to go the extra mile in helping me control costs and disruption. Beryl Road Auto works on Saturdays which is an added convenience. Kudos to Cheryl and Beryl Road Auto!!

I had a bad front end collision about a month ago. I am on a fixeed income and did not have the means to get the car fixed at the price most shops wanted. A friend reccomended Beryl Road Automotive and Collision. Beryl Road Automotive fixed my car for less than the other estimates I received and got my back on the road in about a week. I don't know what I would have done without their help.

I took my car to this place based on recommendations from this website. It was a bad decision! Besides the painting work that was not great (they did not clean the white residues and did not a good job on sanding), my car became more messy. The body parts were not placed properly either. I should have noticed..their place is messy and dirty, how would you expect them do a clean work on your car? Will never go back to this place.

I passed on a recommendation to a family member about this shop. BIG MISTAKE!! After weeks of frustration and return trips the work is still not satisfactory. I looked at the work and am furious at the quality. It looks terrible. Paint isn't uniform, air bubbles in the paint, texture is off, and it certainly doesn't look at all like the other side of the car. The parts they replaced are also poorly assembled back onto the car. Lesson learned....definitely will not recommend this shop to anyone every again and I will not pass on recommendations before testing them out myself. Live and learn.

My experience with other body shops has been much better. This shop can't hold a candle to their competitors.

Cons: Incomplete work, poor quality, aggravating to deal with, estimations are off in terms of time.

I worked in the body industry for about 23 years when I was younger. i am too old now and have no equipment to do my own work. When my Buick was in a fender bender a month ago I took it to Beryl Road Automotive and Collisionand received more than I could have paid for. I was able to talk directly to the owner and my estimate was explained to me in detail. I knew what they ere doing to my car and why. I never received that kind of personal service at other body shops. My car was finished on time and looked just like new.

The worst automotive experience of my life. Lazy service, poor workmanship, poor customer service, office was dirty and messy. Not clean. If you value your automobile these are not the people to take it to. I was recommended to the shop by someone I trusted but they will no longer be recommending this shop and neither will I. The work was 6 days later than planned and after having to have the work be redone twice. I took my car eventually as it was still not complete and they said I could bring it back in a few weeks to have the job completed. I wouldn't go to this repair shop to have them touch my car ever again. I am taking it to a competitor to have the job completed. On top of everything......they refused to reduce the bill. I should have judged the book by its cover on this one......filthy with an unorganized interior and exterior.....incompetence at its finest. Oh and to top it all off their credit card machine was broken and I was forced to pay with a check. Come back from the dark ages....no one writes checks anymore bacause they want protection from their credit card companies. These people just can't get it right.

I have never been more frustrated or disappointed with a body shop. I was recommended to this shop to have a small dent in my side fender and scratch repaired. I called them to inquire on the status of the work at which time they said it was complete and available for pick up. I showed up the next day to pick up my car and it was not yet even painted yet. I came back 3 days later to find the paint job was botched with slightly peeling paint at the seem and divots in the paint job. Poor job. They have one more chance to get it right. I would not recommend this body shop if you value your time and your car. :-|

As a follow up: They never got it right after multiple attempts to the garage for repair. I took it to a competitor who stated that it would take a few hundred dollars to repair their work. At least they will get it done right. Should have gone there the first time as it would have saved me weeks of aggravation.

This place is a nice little hidden secret. The owner, Cheryl, is very personable and knowledgeable and will make sure all of your questions are answered. This is a great, old-fashioned, independent business with very good talent that did an excellent re-paint of my Thunderbird. My standards are very high since I do my own detailing work and restore classic cars. The final paint job was very impressive, they had the work finished in only a few days, and the cost was very, very low compared to other area body shops.

Pros: Very responsive, very candid about all the details.

Cons: None.

I went over to this body shop based on the superior reviews it had given on this site. When I arrived it was an early Monday morning. There was a police car sitting outside--3 vehicles had been broken into over the weekend. When I questioned the owner if this happened frequently, he said 5 cars had been broken into over the course of 3 months. He correlated this to refusing to give back a woman her vehicle since she couldn't pay for the repairs. When I got an estimate on my car for body repair, I was quoted almost $300 MORE than other estimates I received. I am not certain if this is because I am a young woman or not? Thankfully I went to get other estimates afterwards, since I was paying out of pocket (and informed him of that....)

This place is great. They let me buy my own parts from the Advance Auto parts down the street and stayed late to change my alternator. I was able to drive my car home that night. I've never been to a mechanic shop that didn't just take my keys and tell me they would call me. Beryl Road Automotive Collison is different.

Chip fixed my check engine light problem when no one else could. I spent over $800 at other places trying to shut the light off and nothing worked. He fixed it in one day and I haven't had a problem since. He was upfront, honest and fair priced about all the work done.

When my daughter was in an accident about a year and a half ago she took her car to Beryl Road Automotive and Collison to get it fixed. All we had to do was file a claim and tell the insurance company where the car was going to be fixed. They handled everything from that point foward. My daughter's car was fixed so well it looked like it had never been wrecked before. I found out that they also do mechanical work. They can handle everything from severe breakdowns to simple maintenance issues like oil changes and tune ups. My whole family takes their car there now. They are fast and stand behind their work.

The passenger door and bumper of my Mazda were damaged by accident. I sent it to several body shops for cost estimation, beryl road automotive give me the best price. The work done quickly and my car looks like new now. They are very trustworthy and competively priced. I highly recommend them!!!

Very affordable car service. they drove me home and had my truck done on time. Not only did they do the mechanic work on my car, they also did the body work and repainted it. The color matched perfect. They have a new sound center opening up in the shop. I'm going there to get my speakers and amp put in.
