This was my first time getting a bikini wax and I decided to go for a full brazillian. I was immediatley made comfortable and the witty banter made the experience less stressful. You may not believe this but I swear it barely hurt at all!!! She is very quick and well priced (I did my homework) and I'm so glad I found the wax shack. I'll be making this a regular part of my beautification!

This was my first time getting my eyebrows done, and I was very nervous to say the least. I am a red-head, so I was scared that my brows would turn out to be two tiny black lines above my eyes.. but the result was far from that. She made my eyebrows literally PERFECT. They are so beautiful, just the right shape, and not too dark. Angie was great too :) within 5 minutes she makes you feel like you are hanging out with your best friend. It was an amazing experience. I will recommend her to everyone I know, and I can't wait to go back to her for all of my waxing needs!!

Angie gave me my first brazilian, and it went way better than I expected. I'm not gonna say it didn'r hurt- cause it did! But, she is great at distracting you and keeping conversation moving. By the end of it I felt like I'd known her for years and she did a great job. I will recommend her to my friends and plan on going back to her again and again.

I just had my very first Brazilian and I was nervous to say the least. Angie made me feel so comfortable and really put me at ease! She was very quick and is very good at what she does. At first I thought this would be a one time thing, but after seeing how great she is, I've decided to make it a regular thing!

easy atmosphere, great service, Angie is very talented and great and what she does. If you are looking for a super fancy expensive salon experience then keep on looking, but if what you what is great service for a very fair price then call.

I went to Angie for my first brazilian wax and was terrified. She made me feel at ease and talked to me the whole time. It really was quite painless and I plan on going back to have it done again. I have raved about her to all my friends....she also has the best deal I have seen! I will be going back, for sure!

Angie is by far the best waxer in town.She is very thourough and leaves no hair behind!! She is always great for conversation and i know i am in the best hands in town!!!!! Angie you're the best and i would recommend her to anyone!!

I live in LA, and I was up here for my wedding and needed to get waxed. I was BLOWN away by the quality of service Angie provides. It was the most painless bikini wax I had ever had, as well as the most reasonably priced. I pay almost double at high end salons in LA for what Angie does, and she's better at it! I'll make visiting Angie a staple of my trips back to Portland.

I have been seeing Angie for over 6 years now - starting from when she worked at the Face Place, then Equilibria, and through both of her Wax Shack locations. From the first appointment I have had only positive experiences with Angie. She is gentle and makes otherwise awkward situations totally comfortable! I highly recommend coming here, I know I will never go anywhere else!

Angie is amazing! She is detailed in her work and I always walk away feeling more gorgeous than when I walked in. I've seen her for bikini, lip and brow--always a great experience! Plus, she keeps you laughing throughout the appointment. Everyone I have recommended (and there's been quite a few) has had a wonderful experience too.

Angie is the sweetest person in this industry. I like that she has her new studio and the location is great. No hassle with parking. Her place is very clean and cute!. Best waxer in Portland. Great prices for the services she provides. Angie is a wonderful human person!

I've been going to Angie for over 3 years now and am continuously impressed by her professionalism, low prices, and her ability to make the most nervous customers feel comfortable. I would NEVER trust anyone else with my waxing needs, as Angie has proven to do the best job in Portland. I highly recommend her to friends, family, passersby on the street...she is fantastic!

Angie is all about attention to detail. She will "eye" your brows until each hair is in the very place it is supposed to be! She knows that when her customers finish a treatment that her work is there for everyone to see. Her good work has to leave a good impression! She is like an artist!

I love the Wax Shack! I've been getting waxes in Honolulu and Los Angeles growing up and Angie is as good as any waxer i've ever had. She is fast, efficient, clean and funny as heck!
I'm so glad that I found her. I was referred by friends who swore by her and have gone to her for 5+ years and I'm so glad that I finally gave her a try. All of my other Portland experiences have been mediocre compared to this. Thanks Wax Shack!

I've been getting waxed by Angie for 7 years now. She's the best waxer I've ever had and i've been getting waxed for 20 years! She is quick, detailed (gets it all!), very professional and friendly, and good at what she does. I've been to probably 5 waxers in Portlands (NW 23rd, downtown, Pearl) other than Angie and they all weren't as good. I love the Wax Shack.

Pros: Environment is great and clean, parking is easy and service is wonderful

I've been going to Angie to get both lip and bikini waxes for the past 2 years. She's great! Quick, thorough and painless. I've had bikini waxes before that really hurt and Angie knows how to make it painless. I highly recommend going to The Wax Shack!
