Fresh Sushi but RUDE Barely Competent Service

Sushi may be fresh but getting it delivered is not worth the hassle (or being told off by the delivery guy because he couldn't read the buzzer no. in the handwriting of the even ruder guy who answered the phone). Plenty of great sushi places in the neighborhood. Why bother with bad service?

nice little sushi joint tucked away on Washington Square. Prices are reasonable, and the decor is lovely. If I am around the area, I would definitely go back

Amazingly Fresh!

I trek in the snow and rain (only 6 blocks) to eat here. I discovered it by accident b/c their sister restaurant on hudson was under renovation, so I gave it a try. It has the freshest fish! i now go here over the sister restaurant (sushi kawa). I am a regular (i go at least once a week). I normally have my set rolls and sushi that I order, but recently I have taken the waiter's suggestion on what is fresh and good, and honestly, I'll go with their choices going forward. I've never had, or would have thought to order oysters at a sushi restaurant - they were excellent.... and my friend who loves oysters was shocked how fresh and amazing they were!
I can't give enough praises for this place... the manager now calls me by name b/c I am there so much...
Pros: Fresh fish, very clean environment, attentive waitstaff
Cons: hopefully people don't catch on, i like going and not having to wait

Best of the best!
We went for dinner one evening and found the service, food, and freshness to be outstanding. The Manager even tore apart our chop sticks for us. Easily some of the freshest sushi ive had in new york. The Toro tar tar was extremely satisfying as well as the Sea Roll and Uni Sashimi ,Decor was amazing.
