A bustling beauty spot, this full-service salon and its composed owner are the embodiment of good grooming. Donna for a new you!

by ks15

I have been a devoted Donna follower for years. I will have no one else touch my hair. It's that simple. This time I wanted a drastic change. Always hovering in the blonde shades, I wanted to dare a red. Donna set me at ease, gave me confidence and said go for it---of course, even though the color rocked, I was more shocked with the change after I got home. What had I done? Was this me? The next day I called Donna for some serious emotional hair therapy and counseling...the color was gorgeous, but could I pull it off? She gave me some great advice, suggested new clothes colors, makeup and assured me that if after a couple days I didn't like it, she would be more than happy to help me go back to my usual blonde....well I am thrilled to report that Donna was right! Everyone *LOVED* the new color, thought it suited me wonderfully well and with the right color combinations in makeup and clothes, it was amazing! Perhaps I could get used to this red afterall and 'rock it out' (as Donna said). I share this story to let you all know that Donna is not only the best stylist I have ever been to in terms of cut and color, she is a great listener and friend. Will I stay red forever? Who knows? But whatever I try next, I will certainly return to my hair therapist! Love her!

Pros: Great color, cut, phenomenal hair/emotional therapy!

Cons: absolutely none

The Best

by AlisonD

I've been getting my haircut at Eva Scrivo for over a year now. My hair stylist is Hiro (now at the Meatpacking location) who is beyond fantastic. I have really thick, wavy hair, and I have had my fair share of hair-stylists in the past who have not known how to handle it. I can't express how perfect a job Hiro does every single time, except to say that I get tons of compliments on my hair. Next, I'm going for one of the facials, something I have not tried there yet.

Everything about the salon is fantastic. I love the green tea and yummy little biscuits. The entire place just has a great feel, it's not pretentious - everyone is so friendly and you're constantly pampered. I think the prices are perfectly reasonable considering I always have a perfect haircut, and I enjoy every single minute of it. If I could go every week, I would!

Pros: Perfect hair, being pampered, yummy tea & biscuits, Hiro

Cons: No cons

The Best Salon

by starbird89

After having received one bad haircut after another, I researched the top salons in New York City. Eva Scrivo popped up all over the place and received excellent reviews. I was also very impressed with Eva's website. About seven months ago I made my first appointment and Donna was my stylist. As soon as I walked in, I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. I sat in Donna's chair and we had a consultation. Just by talking to her, I had a very positive feeling that this was going to be a great cut. I have to say my hair was in bad shape, bulky with choppy layers all over the place. After I was shampooed, I arrived back in Donna's chair and was asked if I wanted anything to drink. They served me the most delicious coffee in my own french press. Then Donna proceeded to work her magic. When she was done, my hair looked better than ever and I knew I had found my stylist! Each time I leave the salon, my hair looks better and better. The bulk, heaviness and choppiness I once had are now a distant memory. Thanks to Donna's expertise, I now love my hair again. I have never received so many compliments and I would highly recommend Eva Scrivo to everyone.

Pros: Salon, staff, atmosphere

Cons: None

Amazing color, gorgeous salon

by jpete102

I just had my color done for the first time at Eva Scrivo's new salon on Bond Street. Let me first say that the salon is absolutely stunning! I have never in my life seen a beauty salon so meticulously and tastefully designed. It looks like a huge and breath taking loft apartment with a lot of mirrors, or maybe an incredible event space. Not surprisingly, someone who puts so much effort and good taste into the appearance of her surroundings, puts just as much into her work. Eva herself did my color, and I can say without a doubt that it's by far the best I've ever had! The base color is a perfect ash blonde and every highlight is meticulously placed to look like I'd just spent the summer on the beach (but much better since nature just can't give you what a super talented artist can). I've since received so many compliments on my hair, even by women I've never met before! After Eva finished with my hair, she went downstairs to broadcast her beauty talk show on Sirius radio right from the lower level of her salon. I never knew that she had a radio show and was curious to listen, so I decided to get a manicure while it was played live on the main floor. It was very insightful with dozens of people calling in to ask questions, and I was amazed at how good Eva is on the radio! It was very cool listnening on the radio to the woman who just 20 minutes ago did such a fab job on my hair, right in her own salon. All in all a great experience and I'll be back soon!

Pros: Stunning Salon, Amazing hair color, Friendly and warm staff

Cons: none

I'll have to be on a serious budget for the next couple months...

by kbrewin

I went to get my hair highlighted and cut as a special treat for myself about a month ago and walked out spending almost $700, and not by choice. When I called to make my appt., I was given appts. with both Master Stylists (Scott and Alyson). I had never been before, so I had no preference in who I was to see. That was fine, but what I REALLY SHOULD HAVE ASKED is, how much this was going to cost me? Although my highlights are nice and I love my cut, I was just absolutely upset about how much these things cost me, and not to mention how I was strong-armed into buying products after it was all over. I know it's New York and all, but I was expecting to pay no more than $300, maybe $350 tops, for everything. I usually pay $135-$150 for everything at another salon. Will definitely not go back because it's just so outrageously expensive to have Scott and Alyson work on my hair. I cried when I got home, not because my hair looked nice, but at the thought of how much I had just spent. I'm giving it 2 stars as an average (4 stars for Scott and Alyson and no stars for price).

Pros: Friendly Staff

Cons: Outrageously Crazy Expensive

Best salon I've ever been to

by poodle123

I mistakenly posted this under the Bond Street location.... so I reposted it here.

I've been at customer at Eva Scrivo for over a year now. I initially went to see Eva, the owner, for a color correction due to a horrible dye job at my previous salon and thought it would be a one time splurge to get myself back on track with a good color. But, Eva did such a good job with my color and cut that I'm now hooked on her salon's services. They are a little on the expensive side, but the quality is top notch -- hence why I've gone back ever since. While there are many talented stylists there, lately I've been seeing Hiro and he does a wonderful job with cuts! He takes a lot of time going over what would look good on you before he starts cutting, and is really patient and explains what he's doing throughout the cut (I'm very particular and do ask questions so I like that he doesn't take offense at this!) I also like that when he's blowing your hair dry, he shows you how to do it so you can achieve the same look at home. He's really an excellent addition to the salon. I've never written a review before, but my last cut was so great that I had to post. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is bored with their current style and needs a change!

Pros: talented staff, expertise, range of services

Cons: none really....

The AcuFacials

by cocoagain

The AcuFacial treatments are the best! Acupuncture and/or acupunture plus a facial- I've had them both and love them equally. After one treatment my skin looked and felt better than I've ever seen it> I bought the acufacial resculpting package to lift my sagging facial muscles and reduce my fine lines and wrinkles. Not only do I look great after my treatments I also feel relaxed. I have also tried the acupressure ear seeds for weight loss and I can't believe it, but it's working. Tthe acupuncturist is gentle and knowledgable. She created the AcuFacial technique and teaches it to other acupuncturists- so I know that I am in experienced hands. The environment at Eva Scrivo Salon is also friendly and the staff make you feel special and cared for. I highly recommend this expereince to anyone.

Best Hair Cut, Color, Overall Experiance ever!!!

by mimiinny

I have had my hair colored for over 10 years now and it has never really came out the color I wanted.
Well I decided to try this salon out because I read lots of great reviews, and let me tell you, it was the best decision that I have ever made. My hairstylist was Erica, she is just soooo fantastic, she gave me the color and the highlights that I never imagined I could have, and a gorgeous haircut. Also, my hair naturally has that weird curly (not pretty) shape, and it used to be a pain to try to dry and make it look nice, so I used to just let it air dry and look horrible, well she styled my hair sooo well that I bought some of the products that she used on me (btw she was not pushing them on me whatsoever!) and I watched how she dried my hair and now, I do it myself and it really looks perfect! I highly recommend Erica, she is fantastic and she will make you look fabulous!!!

Pros: Great everything!

Cons: Nothing!!

Exquisite sums it up!

by lillian_from_pennsylvania

I took a 2 1/2 hour bus ride to NY to visit Eva Scrivo Salon. I knew Eva would finally be the stylist to give me the haircut I've always dreamed of! Eva has many celebrities and famous people as her clients. I am nowhere near famous, but Eva made me feel like a movie star when I walked out of her salon. She truly cares for her clients. I didn't feel intimidated at all. The shop is meticulously clean and organized with wonderful products. Eva's staff is made up of truly professional and beautiful people.

I've already scheduled my next hair appointment with Eva and am so looking forward to it!

Pros: You'll leave looking wonderful and feeling fantastic!

Cons: Cons??? Won't find them here!

Dude, Where's My Stylists?

by upinblue30

Where are Alyson and Scott? I called to make an appointment and they informed me that Alyson and Scott are no longer there but refuse to tell me where they are. Of course they recommended "amazing" people but I asked to speak with the owner and they still won't tell me where they are. Something is sketchy as the Eva Scrivo salon and I'm not going to trust anyone else with my curly red hair.

A.C. - superb stylist, the best cut ever

by skeeter08

A.C. is terrific. I came to A.C. with a very boring, blah haircut. During our consultation, he listented to me very carefully and offered some great advice. He is extremely meticulous, very patient, and has a great eye. End result, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair. Bonus, he is a great stylist too. Usually when I leave a salon, my hair is poofy and un-flattering and I go home immediately to wash it. He styled my hair and it looked awesome - totally natural and flatterring, I looked HOT!

thanks AC, you are awesome!!

Pros: A.C. listents, meticulous workmanship, patient, pleasant to work with

Unhappy but hopeful

by kat54

I visited the Eva Scrivo salon for the first time a few weeks ago. The salon is beautiful and I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. I only waited a few minutes before I my stylist was ready to see me (very rare occurrence for a NY salon).

I explained to the stylist the basic idea of the style I was looking for - keep most of the length and keep it low maintenence. I was a bit surprised she was using the razor on my hair, as it is already fine - but when she was done, it seemed OK. I liked (but didn't love) the cut but, like most cuts, you get a true feel for them for a day or two when you wash and style yourself.

Unfortunately, when I made my first attempt drying and styling my new hair cut, I was horrified by the result! My ends were frizzy and stringy. My hair was weighed down by all the products the stylist insisted I needed and I couldn't get it to look even close to the style that I had when I left the salon that day.

I was leaving to go out of town the next day and wound up going to the salon in the hotel to fix the cut. For the amount of money I spent on the cut and then the products, you can imagine my disappointment.

Now that I am back in town, I am going to go back when this cut grows out. I have heard too many great things about the salon to not at least give it a second shot. But this time, I think I will see a different stylist.

I'll post again and let you know how trip #2 goes!

Thank You Eva

by jjack11

I recently moved out of state after being a client at Eva Scrivo Salon for 4 years. I often fondly think about the salon, it is one of the things about NY that I miss most. There simply aren't any salons like this one anywhere else, and I have sadly realized this ten times over since having moved. I lived only a couple blocks away, and the salon had become like my home away from home. It was not only a place where I knew that I'd get the most beautiful hair and wonderful facials, but where I felt that everyone from the receptionist and assistant to Eva herself, really cared about me and my experience there. If I was having a bad day, I'd forget about my problems while at the salon and would feel and look like a new person upon leaving. I really did not expect to find a place quite like this one in my new home town (even though I'm still in a fairly cosmopolitan place), but I did not fully appreciate how spoiled I had become because it's been one disappointment after another since then. Even though Eva was kind enough to give me my color formula, my highlights have not been the same since having it done in new salons. I guess there's more to it than just chemistry. I have actually resisted getting my haircut for six months now, as that is one thing that I won't let anyone else do! I'll be coming back to NY soon just for my cut (and hopefully to get my color back to where it was). Maybe I'll also visit some friends while there :)
Thank you Eva for everything. I miss you and everyone at your salon, and I can't wait to see you in about a month!

Pros: The best cut, color, facials and service

A small suggestion for prospective clients

by baychic

I love eva scrivo salon and I high recommend this place, but I was a little disappointed during my 4th visit. My hairstylist(s) usually spend a lot of time listening to what I want, but this time, she was busy with other clients and didn't spend much on my hair cut. My bangs were cut wrong, and when I told her that that wasnt what I wanted, she made a face and said, the way I wanted my bangs wouldnt work with the hairstyle. It was partially my fault for letting her know at the end, but I wish she could have explained it nicer. I dont want to disclose my hairstylist's name because she is an amazing hair stylist, and I have nothing against her...but a little suggestion for those who are deciding whether to go to this salon: bring a picture or two to show what exactly you want. Regardless of my experience during the 4th visit, I would still go back there :)

Pros: Many many brillian stylists

Cons: Too busy to care?

Very Attentive

by atooli

I had a lovely experience at Eva Scrivo Salon. The staff is very attentive and Eva, who cut my hair, is extremely professional. She cares that her salon is run properly and that her customers are satisfied with their service . . . . a rarity in a city that often thinks of the phrase "customer satisfaction" as a level of service that only VIPs are entitled to receive.

Pros: Attentive staff, easy to schedule an appointment

Love this salon!

by val5

I've lived in the West Village for years and have gone uptown for my hair until somewhat recently discovering Eva Scrivo Salon. I've never been so happy with my cut and color, and compared to what I was paying uptown, the prices here are actually very reasonable for a salon of this caliber. I especially love that blowouts are included with every color. I used to pay an additional $60 or more for the blowout after spending $400+ for highlights, or leave with wet hair, not really seeing how the color came out until I got home. Including a blowout in the price of color is a wonderful touch of customer service, and something that every salon should do! It's not surprising that customer service at Eva Scrivo is fantastic, very nice and friendly staff who try very hard to accomodate your schedule and take wonderful care of you at the salon. So glad that this level of work and service has been brought to the West Village!

Pros: quality of work, customer service, blowouts included with color

Cons: took me so long to discover

Not So Hot

by lauren80

Recently, I had my hair highlighted at this salon for the first time, however, I get my hair blown-out here. I was always happy with their work. But with the highlights, I was disappointed with the result. I was told that the "bailaige" highlights were superior to the regular tinfoil highlights, and decided to have that done. Two weeks later, the color seemed to fade, and I had dark roots. I never had that issue before with highlights over the years. So, $320 bucks later (not including the tip) and 2 weeks later, I had massive roots.

On the upside, everyone at the salon is very nice and friendly- I must stress this. I'd go back for blowouts even though I had a lousy experience with hair-color.

Pros: Nice staff, extensive product line, good location.

Antonio Knows Blondes

by nyptfour

I've been a blonde for several years, but I've never had color like the color Antonio's given me. He's amazing! I recently moved from New York to Atlanta, and haven't been able to find a stylist able to work with my natural hair and skin color. I heard Antonio's beautiful voice on the Martha Stewart Living radio show he does with Eva Scrivo, and decided a trip back to New York was in order -- it was a splurge, but so worth it! I've made three trips since, and have recommended him to all my girlfriends.

Pros: Antonio and Eva

Cons: It's a long way from Atlanta

Great place; I highly recommend it!

by allsure

I had a wonderful experience at Eva Scrivo Salon. My husband set up my appointment as a gift and I was very pleasantly surprised. Mira fixed my awful color. She changed my multi-color mess into a wonderful, warm brown. Like magic. Kaz gave me a great cut and thinned out my super thick, unruly curls so that I could manage them myself. All in all it was a great experience. The entire staff was super helpful and friendly, none of the upity receptionists you find at some salons. No sales pressure to buy products or additional services. Overall, happy, happy, happy!

Pros: Service

Cons: I live out of state

I have never felt sales pressure and the folks at the front desk are always accomdating to my hectic schedule. Eva Scrivo Salon gives every customer the NY style they crave without the NY attitude that other high end salons serve.

On a side note their coffee is fantastic.

Face Magic - With Alli Kaufman

by rezarta

When I started seeing Alli at Eva Scrivo, despite a healthy diet and using very expensive products from the Wholefoods store, my skin was so oily or dry in some areas, there were scales around the bridge of my nose. Alli cautioned me that it might take quite a while to address this condition. Six weeks after my first facial and using products she recommended, however, it was obvious that I was on my way to having beautiful skin again. People consistently underestimate my age by at least 10 years, a mistake I welcome more and more! Alli is very rare in an industry known for superficiality. Alli's expertise in skin care is matched by her sincere desire for the overall well-being of her clients. A top-notch service and a great business.

Pros: Excellent Service, Best Products, Great Staff

This place really has it down, all the things you would expect from a top tier salon, and one thing that you wouldn't; there is no attitude. I love Donna, but it looks like everyone is an ace there, and they never pressure you into things you don't want. Worth the money because you are bound to get something you like (and heck, you can earn money faster than you can grow out a bad cut!).

Pros: True stylists who pay individual attention to your look and great atmosphere

Cons: It isn't free.

Look No Further!

by suzdamato

I've been to the salon for a cut and color on two separate occassions and am officially an Eva Scrivo Salon devotee, forever. Alyson is a total sweetheart and nothing short of a genius with color - her highlights are a work of art. She won't make a move without talking to you at length, listens to your ideas and shares her opinion on what will be most appealing. Kaz is the most meticulous stylist I've ever visited for a cut - he spends more time on finish work than most stylists spend on a whole cut. His cuts have made my hair waaay more stylish than before AND easier to style every day - every girl's dream.

New York has an overwhelming number of good salons to choose from - but this one is beyond compare. Seriously, book with Alyson and Kaz and you'll have the hair of your dreams!

Pros: Comfortable salon, top-notch color and cuts

Hard sell on the products

by wartulio

Bad experience. The colorist took the gorgeous blonde color I had and made it a hideous beige shade. And then the stylist hacked off my fine hair with a razor, ignoring my pleas to use a scissor instead, making the edges all rough and choppy. NOT the look I asked for. At all. And then, the icing on the cake, she spent about 5 minutes too long trying to get me to purchase hair products which I told her repeatedly that I did not need. This was a grave mistake, Eva Scrivo is a BAD BAD salon. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!

JD is great. I went to Eva Scrivo b/c a friend recommended it. I was lucky enough to get JD as my stylist. He really took the time to talk to me before the haircut, and listen to my preferences and issues. He came up with some great suggestions and was really sensitive to my concerns. I've been going to him for almost a year now and am always happy leaving the salon. JD is always a pleasure, and everyone at the salon is very friendly and nice - no attitude there.

JD Bowers is Fantastic

by tjaye

Serendipity brought me to JD Bowerss plush chair. For years, I have had limp,
straight hair that every stylist cut the same way. No layers, angle from the chin
down. When I came to Eva Scrivo, before anyone even washed my hair, JD and
I discussed my lifestyle, how long I take to do my hair in the mornings, how I
style it. Afterward, he took 45 minutes (on a Saturday evening!) to show me
different ways that I can style it and how to blowdry it. In addition to having
the best hair cut I had ever had, I was asked out by multiple guys that night.
The second time I went to JD to get my hair cut, I gave him full reign to do
whatever he wanted. Now this is the best hair cut I have EVER had!
The way he cut it accentuates my faces best features. I like it so much and
still get so many compliments, that four weeks later, I feel compelled to write
this review. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JD- after one session in his chair, I have
no doubt that you will have the steadfast allegiance to him that I do.

If you want bangs/fringe go to Orlo.

by maryami

I have been going to Eva Scrivo for two years spending two hundred upwards for cuts each time. About six months ago one of my cuts involved bangs and it's been downhill since. So, for my new cut, Orlo is much better service, they do alot more to help you maintain between cuts.

At Eva Scrivo you can play a game of chicken with your stylist between cuts:
For fringe trims you can't book in advance, you have to call between 9 and 10 in the morning to find out the schedule of your stylist and have the receptionist gingerly ask him/her if they will take you. Oh and they don't do it on weekends. I guess this might be ok if you don't have a job or anything else to do. Or maybe if you haven't already shelled out $200 plus tax and tip to them for a cut. Well I have a job and better things to do than play games with my stylist (will he/she take me? yes? no?)

This has not worked out in may favor so many times that I have had to resort to paying another salon to have my fringe maintained. A while back (when still at E.S.) my bangs had really taken over my face and I needed help, I was traveling for work and needed to fix it immediately. So I called to find out if they or Kaz (my stylist) apparently he had two 15 mins openings on Sat. but I had to call again in the morning.

Saturday morning at nine I was informed again no exeptions to the bangs on weekends rule.
And that is when they lost me, a loyal client of two years who has done nothing but tout their salon to friends and strangers on the street. I carried Donna and Kaz's business cards in my bag to hand out if opportunity strikes. I have literally shelled out thousands of dollars in services and products and I was resorted to a beggar asking for scraps from the eva scrivo table.

Well I was desperate because then I called Orlo.
They were ready to take me that evening once I had made an appointment for a trim a few weeks later. End of story.

Pros: Expensive cuts

Cons: Not much service for that expensive cut

Donna is great!

by seattlegirl12

Donna has always given me a great cut (and fun conversation). Moving to Seattle was super exciting for me, but I was so sad that I had to leave Donna after spending years and lots of cash trying to find a great stylist. After trying a few different people out in Seattle, I decided I just needed to fly back and visit Donna - it's worth it!

JD's the man

by pottskw

I absolutely love this salon. I've been having my hair cut by JD for about a year and he's wonderful. He really listens to what you want and he takes the time to consider your ideas on your cut. I highly recommend him.

Excellent Salon

by lisakisner

I have naturally curly hair so I can't just go to any salon or I leave looking like a poodle. After using CitySearch for a recommendation, I tried Eva Scrivo salon and was not disappointed in the quality. The truth is it pains me to have to cough up three hundred dollars every three months for a haircut and color, but I feel it really is worth the money to leave the place looking and feeling great. The color that Alyson gave me really held up and Kaz does a great job with the cut. The staff is friendly and it's a comfortable atmosphere. They were also really good about helping me get an appointment that worked with my schedule. This last time I arrived an hour early and they took me immediately.

Pros: Knowledgeable, Attentive, High Quality

Cons: Expensive

Loyal Client

by lorenzal

I recently moved from L.A. to N.Y. and did not know what salon to go to. Advised by a friend, I went to a well known salon, which turned out to be over-rated. I had alot of blond highlights and wanted low lights put in. When I told the stylist to blend - thinking she was capable - all of my hair turned out to be brown without any highlights. She apologized.

I came upon Eva Scrivo Salon in my neighborhood. I spoke with Eva (owner) about my problem, and she suggested I see Antonio. He took me as a walk-in.

I felt confident during our consulatation that he would color-correct my hair, and he did. My hair came out beautiful. I was so happy with it that I returned for a cut a week later. Im impressed by his work and will be his loyal client.

Pros: Very friendly service, Convenient location.

I work in a predominately male feild...for the FDNY..so I always had a captive audience...but after having Eva cut my hair, I can't tell you how the men went bonkers over my hair...not even realizing I did anything different...just wanting to touch it and thanking me for keeping it long! Then she slightly altered my color (after going to a VERY high end salon for years...very good divorce pays for!) and the 24 year old firefighters are crazy about me...I'm 47 so they are hands off...they are young enough to be my children!...but it is very flattering!...to say the least. Point is, Eva has the eye to know what works and is what is flattering! Worth every penny!!!!!!

Pros: not pretentious, relatively reasonably, comfortable suroundin

Delighted Bride

by Penn02

For my wedding I went to Eva Scrivo's. Was not dissapointed. We played with several looks, they asked detailed questions about my dress and the complete look that I wanted. Throughout the expirence I felt relaxed and taken care of, more so than at top-notch salons in the city. I was worried about trying a new place for such a special day, but had seen her work in Martha Stewart Weddings and I wanted to try something new.

Nicole Rocks!

by Chibi68

I had been going to Eva for three years when, due to budgetary concerns, I was going to look for another stylist. She was SO wonderful and accomodating by recommending Nicole, her former assistant and FANTASTIC stylist!

As always, the service was wonderful and Lana does the best manicure/pedicure in the city!

Pros: Friendly staff, relaxing environment

A Few Of My Favorite Things...

by dunst

First off, I am not an easy person to please when it comes to my hair, and I know this...but the way Erin cut my long hair was just perfect. She knew exactly what I wanted when it came to layering, and she didn't have to even touch the length! She also made it easier for me to blowdry and it looks better when i wear it more natural, too..thank you Erin!

Pros: Friendly People, Talented Staff, Great Environment!

Cons: None, None, None

Ally - Celebrity Esthetician

by erald

I was watching the Martha Stewart Show where they featured a segment on Marthas skin regiment and the application of a facial. I called the salon and scheduled an appointment with Ally.

Ally is fantastic. She is sweet, kind and her magical hands, make the experience worth every penny.

I call Ally the celebrity esthetician not only cause she has various celebrities as clients, but for treating and making me feel like celebrities.

Alyson- junior stylist

by mwhitefield

I have been going to Eva Scrivo for about a year now as a model for the very up and coming stylist, Alyson. Every time I have gone in for a cut or a new color it was if she was reading my mind. She is takes her time in understanding me and my lifestyle always working with me to fine out what will look best. It is so exciting to finally have someone who helped me develop a defining style. The salon itself is beautiful and relaxing, there is no pretention whatsoever.

Pros: Relaxed atomosphere, Great coffee, Very friendly

Fantastic Salon - Fantastic People

by akadamson

I couldn't say better things about Eva Scrivo Salon. I moved here almost 8 months ago and was initially using Oscar Blandi Salon through a family reference. By chance, trying to find a specific brand of shampoo, I walked into Eva Scrivo, met Antonio Gonzalez, and the rest is history. His level of expertise and professionalism cannot be beat. Eventually, I started using Eva Scrivo for all of my salon needs. Their manicures, pedicures, and facials are top-quality. I highly recommend Antonio and the team.

i heart JD!!!

by kimbalina74

if you are looking for a hair stylist who is a truly genuine person with massive amounts of talent, i suggest going to JD at eva scrivo salon. he had cut my hair a few times at a previous salon almost a year ago and i finally visited him at eva scrivo today. he remembered all of my personal hair styling preferences from way back when, which truly blew me away. he is a great listener and hasn't tried anything outside of my comfort zone. at the same time, he's made some really great suggestions and we've taken some baby steps towards a more "daring" 'do. i also really liked the atmosphere at eva scrivo's salon. it was very relaxing, yet totally contemporary. basically - a high-end experience without any of the pretention. i highly recommend going and HIGHLY recommend asking for JD!

Pros: JD, atmosphere, service selection
