Don't let the converse shoes fool you, Dr. K. is an amazing healer - and loves to help people find their way. My son was in a healing crisis - 2 trips to the emergency room, doing poorly in school, sleeping lightly and not a lot.. and would get depressed every few weeks. In just a few months, Dr. K. got through to him about why eating junk, drinking soda, being plugged into electronics, and not sleeping were kicking his butt.

My wife had discovered Dr. Kuykendall and recommended that I see him to get help with all my ailments, many of which were chronic. I was skeptical and very reluctant, but am very grateful I changed my mind. The final straw was when a neurologist prescribed anti-seizure medication that was making me go blind and had a warning label that I would develop seizures even if I had never had them previously if I stopped taking the medication. The sad part of this is that the medication was supposed to help with my constant migraines. I?m glad I went to see Dr. Kuykendall when I did.
Prior to your first visit, Dr. Kuykendall and his staff ask that you complete a comprehensive background of your ailments and take any other medical records with you to your first visit. I thought this was remarkable how he looks at the whole history of you, your family, and your body?s ailments in particular. As I started to complete this paperwork it started to make a clear image to me of how some of the many problems I had experienced over the years could be related, but that was just the surface. Dr. Kuykendall?s experiences and drive to solve even the most complex situations was an inspiration and a breath of fresh air from all the previous medical experiences I had endured over the years.
During the first visit, Dr. K makes a thorough assessment of the person, not just the patient. His bed-side manner is unparalleled. He works with you and anyone you look to for support, in my case my wife, to create an understanding of what is going on with you at the root of the problem and he supports this further with laboratory testing to scientifically confirm. From there, together you create a comprehensive plan to solve the problems you encounter, not just fix or cover-up symptoms, but the actual problem at hand more often than not for good.
After several sessions with Dr. Kuykendall I was finally able to be healthy, no extreme abdominal pain, no more migraines, no traumatic experiences from PTSD, no Alzheimer like symptoms, no lupus like symptoms, no problems when going to the bathroom, no severe joint pain. Instead, I was reinvigorated with life, I was able to concentrate better, regain memories that I was afraid I had lost, more vitality and stamina, more flexibility in my joints, had actually lost some unnecessary weight, and a better appreciation of good health.
Shortly after making this progress I thought I had a complete setback after receiving another Anthrax vaccine prior to my Army deployment to Iraq. I had collapsed and was taken to the emergency room due to my reaction to the vaccine, many of my previous ailments had returned. But in a few short days time, Dr. K was able to get me back where I had been before the shot. Since then I have deployed to Iraq and still seek Dr. Kuykendall?s advice over that of the doctors here. I also continue the treatments recommended by Dr. K and can attest to how great they make me feel on a daily basis. Since arriving in Iraq I have continued to lose weight, and I firmly believe it is because of the therapy advised by Dr. Kuykendall. In all, I?ve lost 20lbs. in two months. I can afford to lose 30-40lbs. more and believe I will complete that safely before I return next year due to the better health I am enjoying thanks to Dr. Kuykendall.

Dr. K first performs a comprehensive assessment of his patient prior to treatment. He effectively communicates and educates his patients without being condescending. He spends the time necessary to thoroughly treat patients issues rather than just process the patient through to cover his overhead. Dr. K is a genuine caring healer and he is continuously furthering his education in the fields in which he practices. I began to see Dr. K at the end of April and in only one month of chiropractic and nutritional treatment I am feeling better than I have in years. If you are looking for a fantastic chiropractor and holistic nutritional healer, make an appointment with Dr. K and let him help you improve your health.

I decided to try Dr. Kuykendall after I saw the change in my friend's little girl. I had long been suffering from odd pains and "strange" symptoms that my doctors would shrug their shoulders at and basically try to find a prescription for. I was so tired of feeling like I was crazy when I knew there was something wrong with my health. I was exhausted all the time, irritable, anxious, depressed, my body hurt, etc. I started to think it was just the way life was supposed to be - that is, until I met Dr. Kuykendall!

From my very first visit I began to feel better. For starters, he actually listened to what I had to say and didn't rush me through the appointment. He had suggestions, questions, EXPLANATIONS for why I was feeling so bad; that, to me, is priceless. I felt more informed about my health in one visit than I have in years of going to other doctors. I discovered the root of my problems - food allergies. By following suggestions and treatments by Dr. K. and changing my lifestyle a bit, I am getting amazing results! I am no longer having episodes of depression, anxiety or pain. My sugars are level (I didn't even know it was a problem before) which has made a great improvement on my energy and mood! I'm sleeping like a baby, and I've lost weight too! BONUS! After only a few weeks I finally feel like I have control of my health for the first time in my life. That may sound silly to some, but it's true! I'm just thrilled to finally feel great again!

I have had the extreme pleasure of working with Dr. Kuykendall who is treating my 1 year old daughter. I had been to numerous traditional doctors who constantly prescribed antibiotics for her gastrointestinal problems, severe diaper rash, and ear infections. We were then told that she was loosing her hearing and the diagnosis was grim. We started seeing Dr. Kuykendall and within days of our first visit she was no longer uncomfortable from her stomach issues and her diaper rash, that had been ongoing for months, was clear. We recently went for another hearing test and her results shocked her pediatric ENT, perfect hearing. I am so grateful to Dr. Kuykendall for being so thorough and also being so patient and caring towards my daughter.

After trying to have several allopathic doctors diagnose my back pain for over six years, including over $6,000 for every imaginable type of imaging, I now drive 150 miles round trip twice a week to be treated by an exceptional Kinesiologist who diagnosed my problem on the first visit. The last two times, I have been at Dr. Kuykendall's office at the same time as people who drive down from Waco for treatment. A super find.

I have had the privilege of being treated by several gifted applied kinesiologists over the last 15 years for various conditions, including back pain and adrenal fatigue, and I believe Dr. Kuykendall to be one of the best. In just seven months of working with Dr. Kuykendall, my adrenal fatigue is much improved. I have much more energy and am sleeping better. I no longer feel the utter exhaustion that was such a part of my life for over a year. I have also lost weight and my high-blood pressure has improved. In addition to treating physical conditions, Dr. Kuykendall has helped to relieve fear and anxiety with both short- and long-term treatments. I have found Dr. Kuykendall to be very responsive to immediate concerns as well as more chronic conditions. I continue to be more and more impressed with Dr. Kuykendall each time I see him. I feel lucky to have found him.

I left Dr. Kuykendall's office after 1 treatment with lower back "invisable" in terms of amount of pain. I was able to turn my head to back up the car for the first time in MONTHS!! My eyes felt clear, not clouded with pain. In sleep, I pulled a low pillow under my head and it did not hurt. I hadn't been able to sleep with a pillow in a long time. I was able to turn on my side. I didn't stay there long for fear of pain, but experienced none. My office visit was made much more pleasant because I didn't have to have my neck popped. I LOVE the new treatment process that does not hurt. I am very pleased both with Dr. Kuykendall's gentleness and in depth inquiries. He looks at all aspects of my health, requested lab work and x-rays. He understands so well the inter-relationship of medical, emotional and structural. He is actively looking for reasonable answers to the complex issues I have presented. In short, I'm thrilled and confident of finding a treatment program that WORKS!

After receiveing treatment from Dr. Kuykendall, I have seen my sleep dramatically improve. Now I don't get up to use the bathroom or to toss and turn as often as I used to. Movement in my back an dover all my body is also improved.

Prior to seeing Dr. Kuykendall, I tried so many things for my MS. Everything from Physical Therapy, acupuncture, Massage and traditional chiropractic care. While some of those things were helpful, I found that with Dr. Kuykendall, I feel much better. I sleep well, I have better balance, and digestion has improved. My hips and back feel better, my neck is much more relaxed and my mobility is also a little better. I even noticed my alertness and enthusiasm have improved and I am more aware of what I need.

Dr. K. is wonderful! I have tried everything to get rid of my anxiety as well as neck and back pain. He truly is interested in treating your problems or pain from the inside out, rather than simply masking the symptons with a pill.
He is extremely professional and I feel lucky that I found him!
