.

Kevin was totally unprofessional and unskilled in completing a bath remodel and half bath conversion. He is however excellent at cutting corners, covering up poor wiring / leaky plumbing and rot floors. He was untimely, often not communicating for 3 days at a time, had erratic attitude spells, and had to redo work several times ultimately not finishing them properly. He left my roof open for 2 weeks and failed to cover it up with sheeting. Ultimately, I had to let him go and hire an experienced contractor to demo and repair the damages created by Kevin.
Kevin says he is an expert at tile work but had no process in preparing subfloor for my project. He laid cement board even before the ceiling was covered up, the plumbing finished and argued professly over the suitability of not correcting unlevel and rot floors, did not use thinset to level dips and cracked the cement board even before the tiles were ready to be placed. Not to mention he will work on your space for 1-2 hours a day and harbor over how much he has done for the project.
I would N E V E R suggest interacting with Kevin. There would be room for improvement with proper training and developing good communication skills.

Kevin may be good for very small projects where you are able to keep an eye on him, however due to the bad behavior I would not consider entertaining an interaction. What ever happened to customer curiosity?
