Mo's pizza has been serving up a great variety of food to please any appetite. If you are looking for a great patio lunch spot, late night trivia with friends, a casual business meeting, or if you love a place the whole family can enjoy. Serving Atlanta for over 25 years, we have generations of people who have come to know us for our laid back atmosphere, excellent service, and of course pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salad and appetizers that will temp anyone's taste.
Stubbled across this well establish neighborhood lunch spot. Close to Emory just off 85 they offer up a nice location with service and really good food. The patio was nice and sunny with plenty of seating. May have to come back here for beer and some pizza after a baseball game. I wasn't able to get the last piece of lasagna ( it goes quickly...it was gone before 12:30. I enjoyed the sunny deck with a diet coke. I could have done a long lunch, but just as I sat down my salad was there. My Mo's special slice arrived just after my salad and generous sized slice with fresh toppings. Great sauce which was a on the spicey side which I like! The experience was good enough to return for even more items on the menu...they have anything your heart desires for around $8 lunch and dinner. I had to give the gal Melanie kudos for personality and for the fast fresh and delicious lunch I wished could last longer. Home run!
Pros: quality service and large menu selection
Cons: none

Monday after 5PM special is large pizza for $5.95. Add 50 cents for wheat crust and $1.50 per topping. Call in ahead and pick up in 15 minutes or so. Tables are way close together and some people have really noisy kids (I mean screaming and running around). So I usually take out. Even if you eat in, you must order at the counter first, waitress only brings the food and drinks, does not take order.
Pros: Value, Parking, Location
Cons: Crowded, Noisy

Hole in the wall with neighborhood charm describes the physical restaurant (at best), but the pizza is tops. Mellow Mushroom & Fellini's are ok, but I think that Mo's is much better. Wheat crust, good sauce, good wings (all drums for $0.50 extra), and great employees make this my all-time favorite pizza joint. Super consistent, whether dining in or carrying out, I have NEVER been disappointed by Mo's. Plus they have good coupons. Free dozen wings with large 2-topping pizza is a great deal! I am moving away though and will always make it a point to swing by here when I am in town!
Pros: Great Food, Great Value, Great People
Cons: Can get Crowded, Ok facilities

This place has been a favorite of mine for many years, and it always has a certain quality that truly classy joints have that is almost indefinable essence of nostalgia to anyone who has no frequented such a place like Mo's Pizza: friendly, homespun, good music, and cold beer.
The Chicken strips rock like nobody's business accompanying with a great, tangy and subtle BBQ sauce--that I've yet been able to acquire the recipe--which should be pared with a divine Honey Mustard sauce that is simply put: the best I have ever had.
Check for beginning of the week specials such as cheap Cheese pizza, and every Tuesday night seems to be when the fun crowd hands out there; as I was quite amused with the jovial banter being sent back and forth by both friend and the newest patron who strolled in the door.
Pros: lots 'o beer, outside dining, heavy smoking section
Cons: closing time, nosy girlfriends
