Now with two locations in San Antonio (Stone Oak @ Huebener & Nacogdoches@ N New Braunfels), Le Peep is a clever original concept with a menu that reads like a cookbook. You'll find intriguing selections all made to your specifications with the freshest ingredients... snow white eggs, select vegetables, quality meats, crepes, and our own Peasant Potatoes, to name just a few. Le Peep is a marvelous world of generous servings, abundant flavors and enticing aromas. You'll find a steaming pot of coffee at each table. The aroma of big breakfasts drifts in from the kitchen. Juicy sausage, lean ham and crisp bacon sizzle teasingly. For lunch, enjoy crisp salads or delicious specialty sandwiches. Le Peep delivers it all to you with smiles, good attitudes and in a pleasant, warm decor. See the website link above for additional information and menus.

Won't go back

by mamashow

I have always loved Le Peep, but I will not go back to the Nac. location. I ordered the Florentine Benedict(which I always order) and the eggs were hard boiled! When I pointed it out to the waiter, he just looked at the eggs and said, "they aren't suppossed to look like that?" Then he offered to tell the owner. When he came back with the bill he said that if we wanted to complain we could do so on our way out, because the owner was working the register. I let the owner know and he just said that he would need to have a talk with the staff. The whole point was for the waiter to show the plate to the cook and owner so they could see how over-cooked the eggs were. I wasn't wanting a refund, just a little concern over the food, also it took almost 40 min. to get our food. It was not busy as it was a Mon. at 12:30.

An over-priced breakfast spot with under-par service

by EvaChasida

Years ago, Le Peep was "the" breakfast spot in Dallas so I was thrilled when it finally found its way to San Antonio, thinking those bountiful breakfast dishes were about to appear in my neighborhood! No such luck. The local version serves scrawny portions, barely warm and horribly overpriced. The service is an afterthought, but the Nacogdoches location is physically attractive, located in a former Italian restaurant. My advice? Save your money and head to the nearest pancake house instead! For the difference in price, you can bribe a waitress to bring you a side of Hollandaise that's actually still hot, and still have money left over.

Pros: Sunny yellow decor

Cons: Price, service, food quantity

Not bad, go early

by Jeepster05

We decided it was time to find a new breakfast favorite in SA. LePeep was a good choice. We arrived about 930 on a Sunday and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. I had the breakfast banana split (fruit and yogert) while hubby had the waffles. We had great service and the food was very good. Nothing about it stood out from other breakfast places, except maybe the atmosphere. We went to the one in Stone Oak and it is very light and clean. I would recommend going before about 10am on a Sunday, as that is about when the line started to form at the door.

Pros: good food, prompt service

Glorious morning!

by ginaa13

I had the Lumberjack combo (2 eggs over easy, a short stack, seasoned potatoes, and a sausage link) Oh it was so good! I agree with some of the other reviewers when I say they need more staff. We barely saw our waitress. But they also make it so you don't really need them as much, by giving us our own pitcher of ice water (we didn't order coffee). The food was good. Good enough to ignore the lack of service.

Pros: large portions, good taste

Cons: didn't see waitress much

Long wait, inattendant and indifferent service, mediocre food

by hungrybarbarella

Total zoo on the weekends. They are so popular that they figure they don't need to bother with good service. As long as they're the only brunch place in Stone Oak, they have a captive clientele. The food is pricey and mediocre. I'd rather drive ten minutes longer and go to cool cafe any day.

Pros: close to stone oak

Cons: service, parking

GREAT BREAKFAST!

by chowhound10

Le Peep is a such a nice place for breakfast! Lots of selection, and for java junkies like me, they leave the carafe of coffee on the table! Super good omelets, really good poached eggs, fast and friendly service, and nice sunny environment make it one of our favorite spots!

Pros: Convenient location, good food, fast service.

Cons: none

Perfect Brunch Place...GREAT food!

by tkmoyer

My husband and I LOVED Le Peep...he's a breakfast nut and I'm a lunch person. He got the Lumberjack that has some of everything, and I got a panini that was fantastic. The fresh squeezed OJ and HUGE lates are great too!

Hearty Breakfasts

by mg_satx

This is a great place to enjoy a slow, filling, delicious breakfast after a long night of hitting the town. The fans on the patio make the outdoor dining cool and enjoyable. The location is great as well.

YUM

by DGfromMpls

My husband loved the Breakfast Banana Split. I had the french toast with bacon. The french toast is good with the strawberry sauce. The maple syrup isn't good at all. They must've remedied the coffee issue of the previous reviewer: we received a pot along with our order so there was no need for refills! Prices are average... as long as you can get over paying $7 for breakfast.

Pros: selection, ambience, friendly staff

Where did my waiter go??

by triciabarrow

My husband and I enjoyed the food at Le Peep. The breakfasts that we had were very much enjoyable. The only complaint: our waiter disappeared for more than 15 minutes, only returning when I flagged him down to refill our coffee. He was friendly enough, but if he's too busy to wait on all of his tables maybe they should think of hiring more help.

Pros: Excellent Food!, Reasonable Prices.
