Paul called almost immediately after my request for a contractor. Nice, friendly communication. At the time he was in Durham on a service call, but was at my house in SE Raleigh in less than 2 hours. Almost as soon as he took the cover off the outdoor unit of my heat pump, he spotted the bad capacitor keeping it from heating/cooling. Replaced it with a new capacitor he had in his truck, checked the freon, and I had cool air again. This was all within less than 3 hours of first speaking with Paul. Based on my experience, I can fully recommend Hyde Mechanical for service. If I have any future problems, I'll be calling Paul.
