Jon-Eric recently built a computer for me. The cost was comparable to a big box store, but his personal service was far superior! Jon is truly passionate about computers, extremely knowledgeable about the latest trends and developments in most all aspects of PCs, and will give you just the right amount of "geek-speak" that you can handle. He is especially current on the best (and free!) anti virus / spyware software available, loaded it, and most importantly taught me how to best use it. I had a long list of questions when I picked up my computer, and he patiently answered every single one.
It was well worth the bit of extra drive from Portland to his place in Vancouver. I had a few post purchase video card related questions which were answered promptly via email. Building a computer is relatively simple, but Jon's top notch customer service is what really sets him apart. Try getting this level of competence and professional care from a big box store - you will not. Support a small locally business, and you will be happy. Pacific NorthWest Computers has my business for a long, long time.
