I just want to point out that most of these reviews were probably written by people associated with the salon. It's highly suspicious that all of those 5 star reviews are genuine because so many of them came in on the same days. I don't appreciate owners exploiting the rating system on sites like this.
I have not gone to this salon, but I doubt I will now.

As a guy, I have had a hard time finding a reliable place where I can get a great haircut. I have finally found the place.
I can't say enough about Beleza. The girls are simply a genius with a pair a scissors.
As if an amazing haircut wasn't enough, Beleza offers complimentary wine when you walk in, a great ambiance with good music, and a friendly atmosphere.
The price is very reasonable ($25 for the haircut, free clean-ups between visits) for the quality of the entire experience.
I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great cut. Ask for Trixie.......

One of my friends recommended the place for a Sunday. When I walked in the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. She gave me an ipad to sign in on and also to view their facebook page. The salon is really nice, professional, and clean I was very impressed with the stylist because they service all nationalities and there was men and women coming in consistently and getting some really nice haircuts and color.There is a lady there that looks Dominican although she didn't do my hair. Trixie did my hair just like I requested. Which is what I normally get when I go to the Dominicans. The only difference is she didn't put all that heat on my scalp. I like the fact that I can wear it straight or with curls. The ladies do a really good blowout. I was warned that the price could be high depending on the stylist. i was prepared for that. I give this place 5 stars because the ladies really no how to do hair. Normally it's a few good stylist but after observing all of their work, they do really good. Great job Trixie my hair is beautiful.

I was browsing online and was looking for a nearby place in Durham. The salon came up and I was hesitant at first but decided to give them a call. I went in the staff are very friendly, professional, the salon was very clean, and Toya did a good job. She asked me how I wanted my blowout bc there are many ways of achieving a blowout. what I liked was the fact that she didn't burn my scalp. She is a graduate of Aveda and she ws very knowledgable. I was educated on what a trim was bc I'm used to the typical salon. But I see why their price is what it is because of their education and training. I was very pleased with the service and I will be back. The salon is very diverse which I liked because I knew the stylist would be very good at coloring. I scheduled an appointment for color because I want someone that has experienced with color .

came here with a wedding party the day of our wedding and we had a great time. tairs,D we had a lady available to do our makeup.
The staff was not only helpful, but really fun too. They were all dancing and singing and talking to us like we were friends rather than clients. We all got exactly what we wanted and were all really happy with the hair services! Somehow we all came out looking the same, even though our hair was different, which was perfect for the wedding!
They knew we were on a schedule of getting out by 3 and s, fruit, cheese, crackers, and a makeover.
Wedding makeup always gets me so nervous because I don't want to look like a hooker, but I want my makeup to show up in pictures and last throughout the wedding. How do you make that happen at 2 in the afternoon when the wedding isn't until 6 and it is 90 degrees and humid outside? I have no clue, but they did it!

'm a simple man with simple needs, at least when it comes to my hair. I don't change salons often and when I do, it takes some time for me to find the place I will call home every 3-4 weeks for the next several years.
Well, my new home is Beleza,,,, all the girls do very good at an reasonable price. I have had Ebonee, Trixie, and Sherrie cut my hair. I look forward to my appointments at Beleza and the experience wouldn't be the same any where else. After reading reviews of this location, I know there are several good stylists here. However, if I were you, I wouldn't stray from the tried & true.
All the girls makes me look smoother than I am & all at an affordable price!

Upon entering the salon, I had my first negative experience of the day. I had to wait until Trixie, the owner of Beleza Couture Studio, got off the phone talking to a man that she apparently has not spoken to in a while.before I was even acknowledged for my appointment. Trixie the owner is very unprofessional and rude. On the way to the shampoo bowl, my stylist asked a simple question about what product to use to get the glue out of my head and Trixie went on a rampage. She began saying that she doesnt like to deal with glue (she has a weave and tracks that are glued in) and doesnt like to service clients that are not consistently coming to the salon. She informed her that she would have to charge me an additional $10 per minute to comb out the glue and an additional $10 per additional product used in my hair. If you specialize in healthy hair you should take pride in transforming and repairing hair. Please take heed to the fact that their promotions are not what they say and simply a ploy to get you into the salon and take your money. I went in for a $25 blowout and after she calculated all her extras, I would have ended up with at $100 service. They will wait until they get your hair wet and tell you that you need treatments and etc. Its always something when I visit Beleza Couture Studio!!! If you have to give specials all the time to generate revenue and you have a high turnover rate with your employees you should take the time to evaluate the services of your business and yourself if you are the owner. The reason for your high turnover rate and your inconsistent income is your unprofessionalism.
The owner of this salon, Trixie needs to take a class on customer service and class. I left this salon embarrassed, but found another salon that was extremely catering and had no problem removing the glue.

I wanted a nice birthday present to myself, so i went to Beleza Couture Studio. It was very nice and I loved the atmosphere. Trixie Matthews was wonderful and she didnt get irritated by all of my questions. I had heard good things about them, their reputation is so very true. Everyone needs to go and try it for themselves.

The salon is conveniently located at Southpoint with great parking. I referred this salon to friends and loved their stylist. I hv fine delicate/highlighted hair. I used Ebony as my stylist. Expecting an ok job for a lot of money I walked out with an AWESOME coloring and haircut for reasonable price. I was surprised. Tried her a second time and walked out again in love with my color. I have used Blo, Salon Blu, Aveda, La Therpie salons paying over $230 for a cut and color and was never thrilled-I was glad to be done with it and hv my roots colored. I have felt like I need to move from Salon to Salon for perfection and finally I feel I have found my neighborhood salon I can trust that I will always like. I highly recommend Ebony.

Beleza Couture is an upscale salon with affordable prices. Trixie is a awsome stylist, teacher, and business woman. Sade & Ebony does a great job on my children's hair (teenagers). They are always happy with their hair when they leave the salon.
They are open seven days a week which really fits my busy lifestyle. Beleza welcomes walk-ins & appointments (they never say NO).
I have recommend Beleza Couture Studio to family & friends.

Called in this morning to another salon and couldn't get in. Very particular about my haircut and been to several salons and never satisified. I wanted the master stylist but she was busy so I ended up with Ebonee. She was super nice and friendly. She listened to me and took alot of time with me. I had a coupon to another salon. I googled haircut and this salon came up. The website was really nice so I decided to give them a try. I stayed on the phone with them for about 20 minutes before I booked my appointment. The person was very nice and answered all my questions. The salon is really nice and very clean. Ebonee gave me a very good consultation and stress relieving treatment. And to top it off she gave me a really good haircut. I was very satisifed and the staff was really nice and they all worked together and seem really happy and passionate about what they where doing. I give Beleza 5 stars and will be referring all my friends because they have a 5 starr referral program. Thank you Ebonee, I love my haircut.

If you are looking to get highlights, haircut, and color in between, you have came to the right place. Andreia was my stylist and she did an excellent job. I was looking for an Aveda Pure Priviledge salon in Durham, and Beleza came up. She did a really good job and it was well worth the price. I will be referring all my friends and the salon is really nice and very clean.

This is the best multi-cultural salon in Durham. The staff are all Aveda and Redken trained. They are very knowledgable and professional. The owner is very nice and professional. Don't make your judgement off any negative review. There is always somebody trying to get soemething for nothing. I purchased a groupon and was hesitant at first. But once I viewed the website and made an appt, I immediately upgraded my service to a full highlight and brow wax. The best experience I have ever had in a relaxing atmosphere. I referred all my co-workers and my whole family love it . They don't wont to go any where else. So for the negative comment, that's your lost. You win some and you lose some. I'm glad you didn't get to experience the wonderfel staff and service. Misery loves company!!!!! I'm all about supporting the small businesses.
i want to just say that this was the best Hair Cut I have ever had in a long time. The stylist was very attenitive, she gave me a very good consulation. I was very pleased with my service and also like the way they worked as a team to ensure that I was very pleased. I highly recommend this salon for a haircut. And while I was there I observed this other stylist doing highlights and color. And the work is very good. i was happy that they use Aveda and Redken color. I love Aveda color. And I never had my hair razor cut before and I love it. Ebonee you are the best!!!
The service at Beleza Couture Studio was so BAD and RUDE we never even made it through the door. When my wife first called to make an appointment for partial highlights the rude receptionist was so unprofessional and hard to understand my wife thought she dialed the wrong number. Then my wife was told the special offer we had for $50 could only be used for a haircut. At the top of the offer it states it is for $50 of hair services and says nothing about haircut only or any exclusions. So, I called back to talk to the owner and found she was the same rude receptionist my wife dealt with. After I explained my wife wanted partial highlights THE OWNER SAID SHE WOULD NOT HONOR THE DEAL even though it had NO EXCLUSIONS. She repeated it was only for a haircut. A $50 HIAR CUT? That?s no deal even if the customer service is great! She said she would call the promoter and fix her offer. Well, I called them and told them what happened; not only did I get my money back, but the staff said they would deal with Beleza too because the owner was being dishonest. DO NOT GO TO BELEZA COUTURE STUDIO! Later the owner called back, realizing her mistake and offered my wife 20% off any service. I said not only was that an insult when the original offer was 60% off; but that we would not ever go there and would be telling everyone we know about the horrible service at Beleza! Do you want someone this cheap and dishonest to cut your hair? Do you think they will listen to what you want? Do you think they will do whatever it takes to make you happy? The only answer is 'no'! I would not be surprised if all these other 5 star comments are written by the staff and friends or family of this dishonest owner. The only reason they get a 1 star rating from us is because ZERO stars was not an option,

I have been to several salons in the area and been disappointed or just moderately satisfied with the service. So, when I pulled up to Beleza Couture Studio for the first time, I didn?t know what to expect. Once I entered the salon and witnessed the ambiance I knew the experience will be worth my while. The atmosphere is relaxing and they are extremely professional all while taking the extra steps to ensure your experience in one of a kind. Not only do they offer you coffee, tea and wine, you are listening to relaxing music instead of local gossip or yelling children.
Not only do they exude professionalism, their consultation ensures that you will leave the salon looking like you just left a photo shoot. Andreia made sure that she took the time to let me know what to do to ensure you maintain healthy hair and vibrant highlights.
I definitely recommend this salon for all your hair care needs.

I starting going to Beleza Couture when they opened a month ago, and I love my stylists Trixie & Deanna. They do a nice job styling my hair, coloring, educating me about healthy hair, and always giving me good advice about how to take care of my hair & keep it looking healthy; being that I have color & highlights. They are both Cosmotology educators for a Cosmotology school in the Triangle.
I recommend this salon for everyone who loves a stylist that knows how to take care of your hair, a nice atmosphere and have it looking great when you walk out.

I reside approx. one hour from Durham, an area that I frequent often. I heard superb remarks about Beleza and I felt I should give the salon a try. I had nothing to lose, but everything to gain! The staff shows their clients nothing but the utmost respect from start to finish. They work with you to determine what is best for your hair and the suitable style that is just right for you. I left Beleza transformed into a new person with self-confidence and style. My salon experience was well worth the trip. I will return regularly for my hair care needs.

Beleza is a relatively new salon in the triangle but this is far from noticeable when you enter the salon. Trixie, the owner, really has put together what a successful salon should look like and how it should be operated. My stylist Andriea really listened to me and gave me the look I wanted and so much more. In time Beleza Couture Studio will easily be one the best salons to go to in the triangle.

I had a very outstanding experience at Beleza Couture Studio! I love how my stylist gave me a chair message before she started her service. I have never had such a detailed and knowledgeable consultation and my stylist gave the color/cut/ and style I wanted. I really recommend this salon this is definitly a 5 star salon! The salon in nice looking; as a customer I can tell that a lot of money has been spent in creating this salon. The prices are reasonable and the service is even better. Once you walk into the salon, you are always greeted with a smile, offered water, and treated as you should be. On my first visit, I knew this would be the place I got my hair done for the rest of my life. The people are friendly and it's a social enviorment. I reccommend this salon to everyone.

When I first walked into the the salon I thought it was very exquisite and chic. I had my hair done July 23 and I had color and my hair felt very soft and the color had a vibrant shine , and the staff was very professional and overall it was was a great service and ambience.

That says allot for the working professional.
